RAMageddon’s driving up costs all over, so we’re making a classically animated adventure game that runs on a 3-year-old mini PC with integrated graphics! Check out the demo and Wishlist on #Steam!
Just how hand-drawn is our classically animated adventure game?
Well, here's a look at our development process, including every step of making a single idle animation for our Kingsguard character from the intro!

Thank you for the lovely shout-out @IndieGameJoe!
We’ll be exploring some of the characters of War of the Western Deep in the coming weeks, showing off fun concept art and more!
I am very happy to share with you, our first trailer for the documentary about yours truly, "Don Bluth: Somewhere Out There." I would love to know what you think. - Don youtu.be/7rWzQ0iVNYo
Here's a look at the turnarounds from our last update video!
Pim is a member of the Scholars of the Spire, assigned to the tiny village of Ardmoor for mysterious reasons.
Birch is a young tamian who wants to be a scout, and takes the protection of the village VERY seriously.
War of the Western Deep development continues post-PAX! There's a new scene, new character art from Rachel, lots of fun stuff!
If you haven't yet, be sure to check out the demo on Steam! #indiegame #2d #2danimation #adventuregame

War of the Western Deep is a choose your own adventure reminiscent of Disney's Robin Hood. As Royal Courier Mirren, voiced by the great Samantha Béart, players must deliver a message of profound importance through the treacherous wilds of the Border Coast.

We went to #PAXWest2026 with one goal in mind...
...Check out EVERY animal game we could!
So we did! Our thoughts, booth pics, and details of every animal-based game we played and saw at the expo are in the article below! Wishlist away!

This bit is, we think, key to the frustration a lot of folks feel now. Creators we've historically looked to for innovation feel largely settled. They don't see creators at other studios making cool stuff as their competition--their competition is players being able to sleep.
Replying to @bruce_straley
Unfortunately the platforms that need to bring stability have eroded the ability to innovate. The quest for GaaS & wanting to recreate the next Overwatch, Fortnite, Roblox, etc is not a viable strategy & frankly shows these “industry leaders” don’t know their own brand.🧵
It's wishlistable! We're big fans of @SeithCG's incredible Ghost of a Tale world, and it's so wonderful seeing the sequel in action!
Oh and #GhostOfATale2 is wishlistable on Steam!! Right now! That's right! store.steampowered.com/app/5…

I looped around to a booth I demoed at PAX 2025 but I didn't come as a content creator filming that year so I wanted to give @TheWesternDeep a chance to speak directly to my audience about their hand animated adventure game, War of the Western Deep.

Some great War of the Western Deep PAX coverage from @HeyPoorPlayer! heypoorplayer.com/2026/09/12…
(It does indeed all seem to come back to Redwall!)
We're back from PAX and ready to make some amazing things! Thanks to everyone who came to say hi and play the demo--thanks to you, we just had our busiest and best PAX West EVER!
Polyarc set the bar for what an immersive VR experience could be, and we're devastated to see them shutting down. We encourage all our fans to check out Moss: The Forgotten Relic if you haven't yet--and we hope everyone at the studio lands on their feet <3
