I painted this beautiful church as I have always sang ‘Oranges and Lemons’ to my children, and this is the church where ‘The bells of Stepney’ in the lyrics comes from 🍊 🍋

‘The Lovely Lake’ which is actually very small, right next to ‘The Ecology Pavilion’ in Mile End Park. 10” x 12” Oil on canvas panel. It’s a regular walking route for us and is such a peaceful spot in Tower Hamlets and so beautiful.
