Examples: “Don’t *think* about how much this *fascinates* you.” / “Try not to *relax* too quickly.” These patterns combine (e.g., a presupposition + tag + embedded command). Delivery (tone, pacing, rapport) matters as much as the words. People vary widely in susceptibility, and conscious awareness + critical thinking reduce the effect
