#CovidTwitter any idea why 4 months after an infection I’m still regularly testing faintly pos on flowflex? Not on other rapid tests.
I have M.E already so tricky to tell if I have long covid symptoms but I don’t think so! (Yet). Scares me 😳 #CovidIsntOver
Interested in the outfits? I’ve been scared to share my small biz over here since my ‘disabled people deserve joy’ design got ripped off last year, but here we go! 🫣 shopthisthingtheycallrecover…
Today is officially 4 years since I’ve seen friends in person. Many will think that’s silly. But many will understand.
There’s lots of us still shielding, abandoned by society. You’re not on your own. #CovidIsntOver
BE AWARE: since posting this there are now many many fake versions of this tshirt floating around! Please do not click these links, give these websites your details/money. My disabled-run small business is being ripped off 😩

Try telling the DWP to #AskDontAssume. Trying to get PIP they ask what I can and cannot do for myself, I answer, they assume I’m a massive liar and decide they know best.
How many are denied with ‘you have said you have difficulty with X. I have decided you can do X unaided’?
When the pain flares and you feel the need to pace about because you don’t know what to do with yourself, but the fatigue says PAHA, absolutely not don’t be ridiculous.
Chronic illness is fun. #MECFS
Anyone got any recs for tape used to get a better seal on their masks around their nose?
Tried googling but my foggy brain gets confused with the options #CovidConscious #CovidIsntOver
As someone that’s spent a lot of time housebound with #MECFS, I know what it’s like to feel isolated. When no one knows what to say to you because you’re not Getting Well Soon.
Here’s why I think the Gifting and Greetings industry needs a refresh:

Never mind the NHS in crisis. The airborne pandemic we’re ignoring. The inaccessible employment market. The large extra costs disabled people are facing. The degrading/dangerous benefits process.
Let’s ask: Is it wrong for sick people to receive benefits?
A disgusting question.

Others with #MECFS that get flu-like symptoms with flares, have you found anything to help with the sore glands and ears? A decade of this and I’ve still not figured it out.
Doing my usual paracetamol, humidifier, hot drinks and warm compress but any other ideas welcome!
Disability themed events must continue to prioritise covid safety or they’re not accessible or inclusive.
We’re years into this now. We know better. Do better.

One of the biggest misconceptions around covid is that feeling safe = being safe. People in power want you to feel safe so that you’ll do things, so they tell you it’s all fine.
But it’s not fine. Nothing is being done to *actually* make this any better. And it’s infuriating.
I still often try to warn people of the risks associated with covid, and that risk factors go up with each reinfection. They look at me and say ‘the news is saying the exact opposite’. It makes me so sad so many are being lied to, over and over. #CovidIsntOver

Hi fellow disabled and/or chronically ill friends,
How many of you feel left behind right now?
So many healthy folk think I’m wrong with my risk assessment when it comes to covid.
Funny that. When I’ve spent a decade with a fluctuating chronic illness that involves risk calculation from the moment I open my eyes each morning.
I’d say I’m not too bad at it, actually.
Any other #ChronicallySick #Shielding folk spend a lot of time watching travel/nature tv?
I can’t tell whether it’s helping or making me long for the outdoors more. I miss the Scottish islands so much.

#Healthcare during unfettered #COVID means my kid with autoimmune disease just had to sit for hours amongst sick people in urgent care with his broken foot. Y'all, this is bullsh*t. Immunocompromised kids with immune disorders should be able to safely get care for a broken bone.

Disabled friends, we're looking for someone London based and independent of our organisation to participate in a 45 minute research interview next week via Zoom for a one off payment of £60.
Especially like to hear from a Deaf or Blind/VI person.

DM for info.

The billionaires at Davos are "learning to live with Covid" in its true sense: ventilation, HEPA filters, FFP2 respirators, mandatory PCR tests.
Now the rest of us deserve to be #DavosSafe
