I Worked STRATCOM J2 for 5 years. This isn’t mystery radio. That’s an E-6B Mercury on 11175 USB, Atlantic orbit, reading an EAM preamble: K7CWD7. HFGCS + TACAMO doing what they were built to do — HF/VLF relay so the boats and bombers still hear the message if the pretty networks go dark. Not a launch order. Not “decoded.” Just the backup C2 net doing its job off the Carolina coast. #HFGCS #E6B #STRATCOM

🇺🇦 UKRAINE: OLESHKY CEASEFIRE, OCT 27 I wouldn’t bet the farm on it but In a surprising move, Ukraine and Russia have agreed to a temporary ceasefire in the area of Oleshky, located in Kherson Oblast. This ceasefire is set to begin on Tuesday, October 27, at 3:00 AM Kyiv time (that’s 9:00 PM ET on Monday, October 26). The main aim here is to facilitate humanitarian aid and the safe evacuation of civilians — not a broader truce. So how did this come about? Both Ukraine's General Staff and its human rights commissioner, Lubinets, confirmed the timing, while Russia's Gerasimov echoed the same. Lubinets even coordinated the timing directly with his Russian counterpart, Yana Lantratova. Interestingly, the White House has mentioned that this agreement was brokered by First Lady Melania Trump after negotiations wrapped up on Friday, October 23, involving teams from Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. What’s the plan? They’ve outlined a cessation of hostilities in a designated area, allowing for deliveries of food and medicine, along with a phased evacuation using an agreed-upon route. Lubinets noted that this operation will unfold in stages due to the inherent dangers involved. Now, why Oleshky? This town has been cut off from essential supplies since late May and is entering winter with severely damaged utilities. Kyiv warns that exit routes — both roads and rivers — are seeded with mines and monitored by strike drones, leaving residents in dire need of food and medicine. Population figures vary wildly: while Kyiv Post reports around 1,700 civilians trapped there, Hromadske claims more than 6,000 people, including roughly 200 children, might still be in the area. Even the Pope and the UN’s human rights chief have weighed in, calling for a ceasefire. What’s the most likely outcome? Expect that the ceasefire holds long enough in the designated area for those much-needed aid convoys and some evacuations to take place, albeit with potential violations reported by both sides. The evacuation could stretch out over several days. Now for the worst-case scenario — what if a fire breaks out during the first convoy, or on the evacuation route? That could grind the whole mission to a halt, and if mines or drones cause casualties, it'll likely lead to a blame game, leaving the town isolated as winter firmly sets in. What should you be watching for? Keep an eye out for reports on whether the ceasefire kicks off on time at 3 AM Kyiv, the first aid convoy making its way through, and any strike reports from Kherson after 9 PM ET Monday. So far, there’s no word yet on whether the ceasefire has begun — because it simply hasn’t started. Sources: Kyiv Post, Hromadske, Ukrinform on the General Staff statement, AP

☝️LOOK UP: The Hunter's Moon hits full tonight at 11:12 PM Central. It is the full moon after the Harvest Moon, the one that lit the fields for hunters stocking up before winter. Our grandparents did not need an app to know when it was coming. They watched the sky, worked the land and trusted God. Get outside tonight. Take the kids. Look up. America is still beautiful.

💻 Unit 42 retracts AI-agent claim on PHP2Shell Unit 42 has walked back its claim about an AI agent being behind a break-in at a European government using PHP2Shell. Since mid-October, there’ve been attempts to exploit this vulnerability, but no organization has stepped forward to say they’ve actually been hacked. There are two serious remote code execution flaws (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) that have been fixed in versions 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35. However, a third flaw (CVE-2026-115560) is still hanging around without a patch, and it affects only some unusual, non-default configurations. For now, it’s smart to set session.upload_progress.enabled=0 until the next update rolls out. Keep your wits about you—stay vigilant, but don’t panic. #ProjectGatekeeper #PHP2Shell #CVE2026

This billboard outside the main gate of WPAFB? “Active Duty: refuse illegal orders. NO WAR ON IRAN.” It’s funded by Veterans for Peace, along with their 877-NO-2-WARS hotline. I spent years at Creech working with the Predator. I saw the missions, the real costs involved, and the folks who showed up to get the job done. Then there were those who treated military service like some kind of temporary badge, strutting in later to declare that the orders we followed were illegal. You can’t just slap up a sign outside the gate claiming that the missions of those still in uniform are unjust after you’ve already enjoyed the benefits and walked away. Conscientious objector status is a specific administrative category for those who oppose all wars. It’s not a license to cherry-pick conflicts, label one as illegal, and urge active-duty personnel to disobey orders. The divide between those who carry the load and the ones pushing the billboard campaign is glaring. This isn’t really about illegal orders at all. It’s about people who didn’t share the burden deciding it was never worth the cost in the first place. @VeteransForPeace @VFPNational #Veterans #Military #WPAFB

🛰️ Oghab 44 (Eagle 44) — located at the IRIAF mountain airbase in Hormozgan. 📍 You can find it at 28.05639° N, 55.50667° E, about 160 km northwest of Hormuz. As of February 26, key structures like the core Y-junction and the main taxiway are already showing concrete foundations. Fast forward to September, and the western branch concrete segment is complete, with obstacles cleared from the runway. However, the support buildings? Still either wrecked or damaged — no signs of restoration in sight. From the outside, the portals seem to be holding up. Strikes—at least three since late February—have held up the finishing touches. But they haven't wiped out the overall layout. Key trouble spots continue to be the ridge pass-throughs and the portals. What’s lurking inside? That’s still a mystery.

The finishing touches are wrapping up on the western branch. By late February, they had already poured the concrete for the core Y-junction. The portals, interestingly enough, are still looking good on the outside. When it comes to use, think of it like this: the main “activity” frame is in place. This really highlights that the progress made in September is all about finalizing what was already there—not building everything from scratch again.

The condition of the surface support buildings remains poor. The focus continues to be on the taxiways instead of fixing up the compound. After usage: We're looking at the second activity frame. It highlights how the strikes have diminished our ability to build; getting that second taxiway done was given priority over repairing the facilities. @thewarzonewire @ianellisjones @sentdefender #OSINT #Iran #Eagle44 #Oghab44

The finishing touches on the western branch are coming together. By late February, the core Y-junction concrete was already in place. The portals, meanwhile, are still looking good on the outside. After it’s all done, the primary “activity” frame shows that the progress made in September isn’t actually a complete overhaul—it’s just wrapping up what was already there. 2/3

The support buildings are still in rough shape. The focus has remained on the taxiways, pushing back any plans to restore the compound. After use: We enter the second phase of activity. This highlights how strikes have compromised our ability to build; completing the second taxiway has taken the lead over fixing up the facilities. 3/3 @thewarzonewire @ianellisjones @sentdefender #OSINT #Iran #Eagle44 #Oghab44

Joe Burrow flipped a 13-0 deficit into a stunning 35-13 victory. The first half? Pretty uneventful. But after halftime, he lit it up: 16 completions on 18 attempts for a whopping 249 yards and 4 touchdowns. Overall, he went 22 for 30, racked up 292 yards, tossed 4 TDs, and didn’t throw a single interception. That’s 35 points without a response from the other side! Wow. What a performance! @Bengals @JoeBurrow @TeeHiggins @JaMarrChase #WhoDey #Bengals

📍 Sri Lanka's been busy, pulling 40 Iranian sailors from stranded tankers after some urgent medical issues arose about 24 nautical miles off Galle. So, here’s how it went down: the embassy made a request through diplomatic channels → they arranged a ship-to-shore operation at Galle Harbour → the sailors received medical care → and by early Sunday, they were on their way home. These sailors hailed from 19 commercial vessels (reports suggest they were US-sanctioned oil tankers). The Iranian Embassy took care of the costs. It's worth noting that nearly a dozen empty Iranian tankers have been hanging around the area for months, caught in the web of the US blockade. @Reuters @IranIntl_En @DailyMirror_lk #SriLanka #Iran #Maritime #OSINT #Galle

🚨 An AI agent just pulled off in two hours what would’ve taken a skilled team days—or even weeks. We’re talking about a European government network here. A PHP2Shell entry. Password hashes, MFA secrets, an NTLM relay, and an attempt at Domain Admin access. It’s all happening at machine speed.

In a recent threat brief from Unit 42 (October 23), it was revealed that attackers leveraged an AI platform to take control of PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618 / CVE-2026-109619) at a government entity in Europe. Just two hours in, they managed to grab password hashes and MFA secrets, set up an NTLM-relay tunnel into Active Directory, and even made a play for Domain Admin access. The commands they used were wrapped in machine-friendly markers (like ==SHELLUSER== and ==PASSWD==), featuring quick tasks and rapid shifts—clear signs of an automated process in motion. The brief didn’t clarify if there was a human pulling the strings in real-time. @Unit42 @PaloAltoNtwks #PHP2Shell #AIThreat #CyberSecurity

🚀 Last night, Saudi Civil Defence snagged remnants of Houthi ballistic missiles after intercepting a barrage close to Mecca province. Reports say debris scattered across Jeddah, Taif, Rabigh, and Wadi Al-Mughammas. And it wasn't just those areas—Riyadh had its fair share of excitement too, with both drone and ballistic missile interceptions. They shot down ten missiles to the south and even a cruise missile aimed at Khamis Mushait. The Houthis are pushing back, insisting they never intended to target the holy sites. But the Gulf Cooperation Council isn't buying it; they’re calling this a serious breach of sacred ground. It’s a tense situation, for sure. Here’s a real photo from the recovery site, showcasing what was left behind. @SaudiDCD @AlJazeera #SaudiArabia #Houthis #Mecca #Yemen #AirDefense #RedSea
