we did not have our best last 12 months ever, which is mostly my fault, but we are about to have our best 12 months to date. the team is doing amazing work and i think you’ll be very happy with what they’ve got cooking for you. i am happy about this for many reasons, but mostly because i care about our users winning. AI has to be about giving lots of people more freedom, agency, and wealth. we want to do the right thing, but we do not want to scare people into doing our thing.

Hey @elonmusk, If I were on your ecommerce team, I would update this page to talk more about how the Model Y L is different than the Model Y. For instance, this is the hero image when I choose L. 1. How much longer is the wheelbase of the L compared the original? 2. How much more legroom do back seat passengers get? 3. Are there more AC vents? 4. How does the second row fold so you can get access to the back seat? The site talks about larger wheels, but most families buying this care about kids/pets and not necessarily specs like wheelsize. @Tesla tesla.com/modely#L

Hey Drew, stocks are forward looking as you know...curious, it must be tempting for you to short it...might you short it when shares become available to short?

The metric I keep coming back to for SpaceX is $/Mbps to orbit Starlink exists because Falcon 9 dropped bandwidth deployment costs ~10x to ~$6.55/Mbps. That’s about to drop again to just $0.30/Mbps because of Starship. A business that is doubling users annually with a 63% adjusted EBITDA margin is about to cut their biggest cost by 95%… It really seems like people don't understand the implications of this. The math assumes a reusable Falcon 9 launch is 17 tonnes at $1,000/kg and 2,600 Gbps per launch. Starship is targeting 100 tonnes at under $185/kg and 61,000 Gbps per launch. That's $17M for 2,600 Gbps ($6.55/Mbps) verse $18.5M for 61,000 Gbps ($0.30/Mbps). Starship's additional volume allows for larger satellites, enabling simultaneous gains on multiple cost curves. The math suggests V3 satellites are ~600 Mbps/kg vs ~150 Mbps/kg from V2 mini. Combining the 4x improvement on satellite bandwidth density with a 5x improvement in launch gets you the 20x improvement to 30 cents per Mbps to orbit. These are fairly conservative assumptions because launch probably comes in even lower as Starship ramps, and satellite improvements probably keep coming. At $0.10 / Mbps, $1 billion spend on launch represents 10,000 Tbps or about 15x the bandwidth of Starlink's constellation today. $1B is 90 days of operating income for Starlink... at it's current scale... Yeah, I really don't think people are getting this. Starlink is the internet now.

Your Tesla integrates with the calendar on your phone so you can just get in, tap the start button, and get out at your next appointment. Also, I give my thoughts on the SpaceX IPO.

It is under appreciated the fact that Tesla engineers are able to test Full Self-Driving at home, road trips, running errands — literally every second of their lives inside a Tesla. I went to a dinner once where a few people work at autonomous vehicle companies. They rarely put their butt in their own build, let alone drive them anywhere after work. Thus ride quality and experience are a myth to them. In contrast, we put our butt in the seat, literally “working ass off” every day, and getting unfiltered feedback from the spouses 😆.

It can go from New York to LA without human intervention. I’ll prove it.
Man who still hasn’t gotten a driverless car that can go to NY from LA without human intervention claims he will build a robot that can solve poverty and replace surgeons. Yeah, right.

Exactly. The reason Tesla hasn’t yet spent more on AI training is that it wasn’t yet the Limiting Factor for FSD. It will be that for Optimus, so we’re building Cortex 2 for training.

I don't make content on $ADA anymore, the reason why is mainly due to it failing to deliver on many things and being very poorly steered, I think they've done an awful job and it's position will continue to suffer because of it. But @IOHK_Charles is right on cryptos trajectory
