Motorola Signature 27 dropping with official GrapheneOS support is the wildest hardware plot twist of the year. First non-Pixel device to actually allow custom root of trust and verified boot re-locking. Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. 7,000 mAh battery with 90W charging. Zero Google/carrier telemetry out of the box once flashed. $1,600 is steep, matching maxed-out iPhone pricing. For a dedicated cold-signing brick, it’s massive overkill—a used Pixel still wins on cost. But as a daily driver with zero-telemetry, hardened malloc, and true hardware freedom? Finally, an uncompromising endgame beast. Gonna wait a couple months for the stable official builds to roll out before pulling the trigger. Gonna harden your bonk once in a while.
Motorola has announced their new high end flagship phone including upcoming official support for GrapheneOS as an OS option. Motorola Signature 27 will be the first Motorola device supported by GrapheneOS. More devices will be supported in the future. motorolanews.com/motorola-si…

A $4 billion bankruptcy just proved law firms are empty shells. The AI startup bidding for Weil Gotshal isn't buying a company—it's buying data and a name, because the people were already walking out the door. ▶ Full video: youtube.

Today, we’re announcing Ternary Bonsai 2 27B. Based on Qwen3.8 27B, Bonsai 2 27B is 9x smaller than its full-precision counterpart while retaining 98.2% of its aggregate benchmark performance. Two months after the first Bonsai 27B release, the biggest change is quality. The footprint remains 5.9 GB, but the gap to full precision has narrowed materially, with particularly strong gains in agentic coding, multimodal reasoning, and long-horizon tool use. Ternary Bonsai 2 27B is available today under Apache 2.0.

On an intelligence-density basis, Bonsai 2 27B is a clear outlier relative to both full-precision models and other low-bit alternatives. Many low-bit models become deployable only with a meaningful quality tradeoff. Bonsai 2 pushes the frontier toward significantly higher capability at the same memory footprint.

Today at Snapdragon Summit, we’re announcing 1-bit Bonsai vision-language model running locally on AI smart glasses powered by Snapdragon® AR1 Gen 1 Platform. With Qualcomm Technologies, we optimized Bonsai for Snapdragon Hexagon™ NPU, delivering 4x lower memory usage and 2x faster token generation for equivalent intelligence, making it possible to bring significantly more capable AI to run directly on highly constrained wearable devices. We believe model-hardware co-design will be critical to bringing increasingly capable AI from the cloud onto the devices people use every day.

We have been very excited to see how the community has been utilizing our Bonsai 2 model, well beyond use cases that we had originally envisioned it for. We’ve spent the last few days putting Bonsai 2 27B through various examples inspired by what the community has shown us. These examples showcase the strengths, and some of the shortcomings–particularly on longer multi-turn agentic workflows, and will be extremely helpful as we continue to improve. We’ll be sharing a few of those demos, along with some practical guidance on the settings and prompting that get the best results from the model. Demo repo: github.com/PrismML-Eng/Bonsa…

First up: building a 3D skateboard game from scratch in a single HTML file. The first attempt isn't perfect. Instead of restarting a better generation, we keep the same conversation going, point out the issues, and give the model feedback. It progressively fixes the gameplay, visuals, and controls over several iterations. That iterative loop being able to take feedback, debug its own work, and improve an existing artifact is much closer to how we think language models are most useful in practice. We also tested Ternary Bonsai 2 27B on the 2026 IMO problems against full-precision Qwen3.8 27B (54GB) and Gemma 4 12B QAT (~7GB). No internet. No tools. 131K-token reasoning budget. Bonsai scored in the upper end of the human bronze-medal range and retained 95% of Qwen’s IMO score, while completing the problems in 70% of the time. Code: github.com/PrismML-Eng/Bonsa…

Starting from an empty workspace, Bonsai 2 27B built a browser-based desktop in a single HTML file, then iteratively fixed issues across multiple rounds of feedback, from broken windows and UI behavior to complete functionality and final styling. Code: github.com/PrismML-Eng/Bonsa…

🛡️ The Save Europe Act arrived in the institutions! Our National Organizer for Denmark @SebastianNGi 🇩🇰 was present at the Danish Parliament and presented the Save Europe Act with a powerful speech. "A few years ago, remigration was a word most people had never heard of, or something that was perceived as negative. Today it is being discussed in several countries. And we will continue to make this topic the talk of town!" Thank you @SebastianNGi for presenting our movement to the Danish Parliament audience and for never stop fighting for closed borders, a safe Europe and remigration! ✈️ Send them back!

iPhone 18 Lockdown Mode defeated with PDF PDF is all you need to get root access on the newest iPhone. (Still probably the #2 most secure phone.) This is why GraphensOS has invested so much in sandboxing, profiles, and restrictions to stop this kind of exploit. Zero-trust: assume it WILL get compromised, but cut off the limbs before they reach the rest of the system. If you don't do that, all data from your phone will be stolen by a dancing anime girl like on an iPhone. This jailbreak would probably not work if the PDF was opened with Safari, which is why I recommended using fewer apps as possible in general. Every app just increases the attack surface, and without GrapheneOS profile sandboxing, this is resultsult. Imagine now how bad other Android devices are if an iPhone were broken like this. Don't wait, get GrapheneOS and be safe from malicious dancing anime girls. Be safe. Get GOS.
Lockdown Mode helps, until it doesn't.
