In this post, @mcarmystrong features the infamous issue of LIFE Magazine that published still frames from the Zapruder film. It was the first time the public had seen those images. It has long been known that LIFE's editors kept changing the 10/2/64 issue to jive with the Warren Report's single-bullet finding. But until we looked into it, only 3 separate print runs had been identified. We unearthed a 4th, meaning that LIFE's editors broke the photographic plates multiple times and printed at least 4 different versions of that issue of the magazine—an incredibly costly and unheard-of undertaking. LIFE's former Editorial Business Manager, James Wagenvoord, told us the fascinating story of the broken plates when we interviewed him on camera. He passed away four years ago, and we are so grateful he shared his time, knowledge, and perspective with us. This is just one of the many investigative nuggets we uncovered while making Four Died Trying. You'll see more when the franchise returns.
MURDER MOST FOUL: AN OPEN LETTER TO ERIN BURNETT Dear @ErinBurnett, Two years ago, you interviewed the nephew of John F. Kennedy. That took courage. Thank you. Now, go further. Give a platform to the gutsy women who have reopened the JFK assassination cold case here in 2026. When I was a boy, my mother gave me this copy of the October 2, 1964 edition of Life magazine in which Congressman (and future president), Gerald Ford, said the following on behalf of the Warren Commission: “We were, and we are now, convinced that Oswald was never an agent for the U.S. government.” My mother didn’t believe that "we." She didn't believe Gerald Ford. Do you? More than sixty years after Ford wrote those words, Congresswoman @realannapaulina’s JFK Task Force has dug up new evidence in the JFK case. Congresswoman Luna has publicly disavowed the Warren Commission’s conclusion of a lone gunman, and her Task Force’s findings challenge Ford’s claim that Oswald was a leftwing nut with no connection to our federal agencies. “If Oswald had a 201 file, he was an agent,” argued Victor Marchetti, former Executive Assistant to the @CIA's Deputy Director, Admiral Rufus Taylor. Well, according to @jeffersonmorley, one of the lead investigators of Luna’s Task Force, not only did Oswald have a 201 file with the CIA, but the file was packed. There are at least 198 pages in the agency’s pre-assassination Oswald file, as Morley has revealed. Furthermore, thanks to Luna and @TulsiGabbard (as well as @amaryllisfox), we now have thousands of new declassified JFK files that show, among other things, a fact-pattern of the CIA lying to the American people about Lee Harvey Oswald and his relationship to our government. Did you know that the Texas Attorney General of 1963 (Waggoner Carr) told the Warren Commission that Lee Harvey Oswald was an FBI informant (informant ID number S-179)? Did you know that Morley and the JFK assassination research community have discovered evidence that Oswald may have been part of a psychological operation run by the CIA’s George Joannides? Have you ever heard of Joannides? Many Americans haven’t. Do a show, Erin. Do more than just a show. Ask the tough questions. Ask @RepLuna and Morley about Joannides, psychological warfare, and the anti-Castro activities of the CIA’s JMWAVE station in 1963. After all, Cuba is in the news once again, isn’t it? Ask your fellow citizens about Joannides’ connection to Lee Harvey Oswald and the 1978 House Select Committee’s reinvestigation of the JFK assassination. After all, the murder of JFK is being investigated by a federal body once again, isn’t it? And ask yourself: Am I and my network any different than Life Magazine in 1964? Is @CNN engaged in psychological warfare by ignoring the JFK story here in 2026? Is omission the mission of CNN when it comes to the recent COVID revelations (thank you, @RobertKennedyJr) and the recent JFK revelations (thank you, Representative Luna)? You are a good journalist, Erin. You don’t have to be a Gerald Ford, a Tom Brokaw, or a Dan Rather. You don’t have to gaslight or ignore the JFK truth-tellers. Rather dropped to his knees in 1963 and parroted the official fiction. Brokaw carried that unlit torch. Ford gave his life to the lie, the propaganda of the government and its corporate media assets. How do we know that? Ford admitted it. In 1997, JFK documents showed Ford, while on the Warren Commission, edited a draft report to change the description of President Kennedy's bullet wound from his "back" to the "back of his neck" to align with “the magic bullet theory” and the theory of the lone gunman. Like Fauci doing everything in his power to launder the proximal origin theory of COVID, Ford sold his soul to protect the state. Is that your job, Erin? Will that be your legacy and the legacy of CNN? It doesn’t have to be. @kait_tiffany has just published a new book on the JFK assassination: THE HOUSEWIVES UNDERGROUND. In her book, Tiffany writes, “Today, it’s a fact of the historical record that the Warren Commission was not a fully-independent and exhaustive investigation of the crime of the century.” Tiffany is right. Take the investigation further, Erin. Invite Tiffany, Luna, Gabbard, Morley, and Fox onto your show. Have that conversation that many of your viewers want (I am one of them). You have not yet tackled “the crime of the century,” Erin. But it’s not too late. Shoot your shot. Pax, M.C.
