The Story of Parmaster (Narrated by Alberto Daniel Hill)
I still remember the exact moment our paths truly crossed. I am Alberto Daniel Hill, a hacker from Uruguay, a transparency warrior who had been wrongfully imprisoned, and someone who knew exactly what it meant to fight the system. But long before my story was ever told, there was a legend who walked the networks before the web even existed. They called him the Parmaster.
He was the quiet American ghost in the wire, a prolific teenage "cyber bad actor" in the 1980s who slipped into Tymnet, TRW's defense systems, and Citibank before vanishing out a window to evade the U.S. Secret Service for two years. I had immense respect for what he had survived and who he had become: a brilliant, devious mischief-maker who survived a severe stroke, reinvented himself as a respected OSINT and DFIR professional, and became a NAFO fella fiercely defending the truth.
I wanted the world to hear his voice, so in November 2024, I hosted a Twitter/X Space alongside @theKaliStory_ titled "A MIND BLOWING HACKERS STORY." Jason was my special guest. It was our first documented public connection, and it was the turning point that sparked our friendship.
My journey with Parmaster. "The Last Ping: How I Met an 80s Cyber Legend and Lost a brother" a book about Jason from my perspective.
To be released in a few days.

Welcome to "Libertad de Expresión en Uruguay for Dummies" 🇺🇾✨
In this video, we break down why grandpas are getting their houses egged over their X posts, how the government bought a $2M spy system just for cops to share the passwords like a family Netflix account, and why posting online in 2026 is basically an extreme sport.
Make it make sense! 😭👇 Watch the full breakdown here:

My focus: The human element. Protect people, educate people. Hacking isn't just code—it's redemption, protection of the vulnerable, education across borders, and turning personal struggle into global good. We must fight the "technological justice gap" and advocate for digital rights against systemic failures. I once wanted to change the world... and I still want to.

¡¡¡IMPERDIBLE!!! MATENSE DE LA RISA DE LA POLICIA Y FISCALIA Y GOBIERNO URUGUAYO!!!!!!!!
---------------------------------------------------

This is a classic low-impact hacktivist defacement.
A Philippine group called **NullSec Philippines** replaced the homepage of Uruguay's Ministry of Environment site and a related electronic sworn statement platform with their message. They dropped proof files on government domains and got it archived on Zone-H, the main defacement tracker.
The group has been hitting government and school sites across Southeast Asia for months — Philippines, Thailand, even some anti-China stuff. This Uruguay hit looks like them branching out, probably just to show they can. The tweet calls it a limited web compromise, not a full breach — no data stolen, no backend access, just a splash page saying "we were here" with hacktivist slogans.
**Why it matters for Uruguay:** Your government already deals with constant probes — one cyberattack every 30 minutes in 2024, plus bigger incidents like the Paysandú ransomware attack. This adds to the noise, damages public trust, and could be a test run for something deeper if they don't clean it up fast.
**Bottom line:** Embarrassing but not catastrophic. Fix the website, check for lingering access, and treat it as a wake-up call. NullSec Philippines is loud and active, but their track record is mostly cosmetic defacements, not deep data theft. Watch for any follow-up leaks — that's when it would stop being just noise.
