Larry Fink just compared tokenization to the internet in 1996.
In his 2026 Annual Chairman's Letter, the BlackRock CEO made the case that tokenizing stocks, bonds, and ETFs could democratize investing the way the internet democratized information.
โHalf the world's population carries a digital wallet on their phone. Imagine if that same digital wallet could also let you invest in a broad mix of companies for the long term, as easily as sending a payment. Tokenization could help accelerate that future.โ
BlackRock manages $14T in AUM and is already deep in the space, with nearly $150B in digital assets under management including BUIDL, the world's largest tokenized fund.
Key points from the letter:
โ Digital wallets could enable easier investing through tokenized bonds, ETFs, and fractional assets, potentially democratizing market access.
โ $65B in stablecoin reserves, signaling deep institutional commitment to digital finance.
โ Clear regulation on investor protection and digital identity isn't a barrier to progress, it's the infrastructure that enables it.
The CEO of the world's largest asset manager just put tokenization at the center of his annual letter. The institutional case for this technology has never been clearer.

From a pure retail perspective, there is currently virtually no fresh money entering the market.
Thatโs why Iโve been saying that the market is now like a โhard mode PvP game.โ
โEasy money seasonโ is not here yet.
The pumps you see in certain coins, like memes, are simply due to money being shifted from underperforming altcoins to memes.
Why isnโt there any new retail liquidity coming in?
Well, for two main reasons:
1 โ NPCs arenโt paying attention yet.
2 โ Crypto enthusiasts have been dollar-cost averaging all year; their bags are packed (and theyโre also exhausted).
But donโt be sad.
Iโd describe this moment as:
โThe calm before the storm.โ
Because you know whatโs likely to happen fairly soon.
โBig moneyโ will propel Bitcoin to new highs, triggering a domino effect.
Crypto will go mainstream, and a new massive wave of liquidity will flood the industry.
NPCs will once again take loans to buy shitcoins as they explode and, as a consequence, โeasy money seasonโ will arrive.
All you have to do is hold on until then.
Embrace boredom as an essential part of investing.
Donโt try to โspice things upโ by engaging in reckless leverage trading with all your capital.
You donโt want to get liquidated for foolish reasons before the real fun begins.
Rant over.
Be ready for the upcoming tsunami ๐

Coming shortly, ๐ will publish everything demanded by @Alexandre and how those requests violate Brazilian law.
This judge has brazenly and repeatedly betrayed the constitution and people of Brazil. He should resign or be impeached.
Shame @Alexandre, shame.

And you really think itโs a sustainable market ?
Hence, itโs the largest casino the world has ever seen
And the SEC has a good right to go against these scammers to avoid the same mess that happened in 2018 and 2021
Let me remind you, LUNA, FTXโฆ โ๏ธ

Mr Stark:
1. Tether is not a U.S. company and does not operate in the U.S., nor solicit U.S users. Our core markets are the unbanked people in emerging markets and developing countries, billions of people left out from the financial system just because they're too poor to be of interest of the banking industry.
2. Tether not only verifies all primary market customers but also conducts enhanced due diligence on all itโs customers including the UBOs, directors, authorized signatories etc.
3. As well all customers are risk rated and periodically checked as part of our enhanced due diligence processes. These practices are in line with bank caliber AML programs.
4. We automatically, on an ongoing basis, monitor all customers for potential Sanctions and adverse media matches using World-Check.
5. Our transfers to and from our customers are screened with Chainalysis for links to potentially high risk wallets
6. Our compliance team helps secondary market users who have sent funds to contract or black hole wallets to recover their funds
7. Historically, Tether has frozen hundreds of millions of USDt working with law enforcement worldwide. Our response time and diligence in working with law enforcement and regulators is more efficient than any bank in the world. That's due to transparency of blockchain technology and our commitment to protect our users and company.
8. Tether has worked with law enforcement worldwide on over 200 cases, including several cases with US law enforcement.
9. Tether has already returned > USDt 100MM to victims to hacked individuals, exchanges and networks. While investigations reach to an end, more will be unlocked and returned to legitimate owners.
10. Tether Limited is registered with FinCEN, files suspicious activity reports (SAR) with FinCEN and is subject to Title 31 Examinations. The Tether Group also files SARs with the BVI FIA.
11. Tether regularly works with the FBI and DOJ on various cases.
12. Tether is a patron of INHOPE which seeks to combat CSAM.
13. Tether presented at the 9th Virtual Currencies Conference hosted by Europolย earlier this month and participates at this conference annually.
14. Tether meets with regulators and law makers worldwide to discuss approaches to foster sustainable growth.
15. Tether is doing a fine job to protect its users, taking risk management extremely seriously, accruing additional reserves (excess equity) on top of its 100% reserves. That's widely better than many banks that recently have failed their customers all around the world (SVB, FRB, ...).
16. While the world (especially but not limited to MSM) has been obsessed with Tether for the last many years, several companies, public and private, among which some notable U.S. ones, failed their investors, taking insane amounts of risks. Risks that are far from Tether risk management policies.
17. We truly appreciate the interest in our company. The amount of scrutiny that Tether has been subject to, since 2014 helped our team to become stronger, better and more efficient.
18. Yet sometimes, this obsession with Tether could lead who is in charge of policing the market, to not properly check what's happening in its own backyard, as proven by recent history.
P.
