URGENT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION NEEDED AT AKPAKA PHC, OHAUKWU LGA, EBONYI NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT, EBONYI STATE!
Dear Governor @FrancisNwifuru, how much longer must the over 3,000 residents served by Akpaka PHC endure this neglect?
For over a decade, the facility has remained in deplorable condition. Its roofs leak, walls are severely cracked, floors are damaged, and healthcare workers rely on rented generators to pump water and torchlights to conduct deliveries. Only one mattress is functional; the rest are completely ruined.
Despite several appeals to the administration of former Governor @DaveUmahi, a visit to @Sen_Onyekachi in December 2024, and promises under the current administration, nothing has changed.
Must patients choose between their health and safety at the centre? Must pregnant women continue to deliver in darkness? Must healthcare workers operate under these dangerous conditions?
The people of Akpaka deserve safe and functional healthcare, not years of unfulfilled promises.
We call on Gov. @FrancisNwifuru, Hon. Eze Paul Ituma, and @mohebonyi to urgently rehabilitate and equip this facility.
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.

We paid a monitoring visit to Wayo Mati PHC, Wamba LGA Nasarawa State.
Condition at the time of tracking: Wall cracks, maternity ward leakages, broken toilet in the labor room, a damaged incinerator, a faulty gate, a damaged water tank, and a broken roof.
Population target: This is the sole government health facility serving over 3000 residents, with a patient inflow of about 816.
We implore the @NphcdaNG, @NasarawaGovt, to facilitate the immediate renovation and staffing of this facility.

NAWAIRUDEEN PRIMARY SCHOOL, ISALE ÌJẸUN, ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE, NEEDS URGENT GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION!
Nearly 100 years old, this school has deteriorated to the point where teachers had to evacuate pupils from the building over fears of collapse.
Today, its 150 remaining pupils are squeezed into a single hall belonging to the NAWAIRUDEEN Islamic Society, where all six classes share the same space. To allow one class to learn, the others must remain silent, taking turns daily. This is no environment for learning!
The school once had more pupils, but many parents have withdrawn their children because of these deplorable conditions.
We understand that @OGSG_Official informed the school that renovation had been approved, but for almost a year, where is the promised intervention?
Dear Governor @DapoAbiodunCON, the future of these children cannot remain on hold. We call for immediate action to rehabilitate this school, provide a safe learning environment and restore the dignity of public education.
Our children deserve classrooms, not makeshift arrangements.

I think we need to a national database, state by state of uncomplicated projects that's been initiated but left abandoned by successive governments.
It's terrible having to watch public funds been laid to waste.

Dear Senate President @Senator_Akpabio
The @NGRSenate is not a private club, and democracy is not a political inheritance!
The “No Vacancy” motion moved by Senator Tahir Monguno and endorsed by the 10th Senate in support of your return as Senate President and other Principal offices is an affront to democratic competition and institutional independence.
Leadership must emerge through a transparent and democratic process, not political coronation.
Nigerians deserve a legislature focused on accountability, representation and public service, not the protection of political interests.
Public office is a responsibility, not an entitlement. Democracy must never be reduced to a coronation!
Our Rivers state officer, Mercy Eze was invited to The Big Talk on 93.5 FM.
It was a good opportunity to educate listeners on the realities of public projects by examining the gap between what is documented in government budgets and what is actually implemented on the ground.

N1.6billion was allocated to the Construction of Mini Stadiums with Flood Lightening System in Paiko(Paikoro LGA) and Kuta (Shiroro LGA) Of Mini Stadiums In Gawu Babangida (Gurara LGA) and Sabon Bwari (Tafa LGA), Niger state in the 2026 FG Budget.
We tracked this project at Gawu Babangida in Gurara LGA and report that construction is still at an early stage.
Foundation is being laid while additional blocks, materials for the proposed pavilion, and other construction materials were observed within the premises but the contractor was not on site.
We call on FEDERAL COLLEGE OF HORTICULTURE, DADIN-KOWA, GOMBE, to call the contractor back to site to complete this project.
OVER 1 BILLION PAID, NO SUBSTANTIAL PROGRESS ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF RANDLE GENERAL HOSPITAL
Dear Hon. @femigbaja and @NBRRI_Official, the people of Randle, Lawanson, Marshal, Akerele, Bode Thomas, Adeniran Ogunsanya, and surrounding communities deserve answers.
The reconstruction and equipping of Randle General Hospital, Surulere, Lagos, was captured in the 2024 Federal Government budget. The project was also highlighted in our 2025 annual report after N210m was disbursed to it in 2022, yet no implementation was observed at the time. Shortly after the report was published, contractors arrived on site.
However, the latest developments raise fresh concerns about the pace of implementation and the use of public funds.
On 20 December 2025, N406m was paid to Lagfield Construction Ltd for the reconstruction and remodelling of Randle General Hospital, Surulere, Lagos. On the same day, another N399.4m was paid to Candon Construction Ltd for the equipping, reconstruction and remodelling of the same project, bringing the total amount disbursed to N805.4m.
Yet, nearly a year after these payments, our monitoring visit to the project site in October 2026 revealed little visible progress, with the foundation still not fully formed.
Meanwhile, since January 2026, staff of the hospital have been evacuated and redistributed to other hospitals and PHCs around the axis, further underscoring the disruption caused by the prolonged reconstruction.
How has over N1 billion been paid towards this project, yet construction remains at such an early stage? What accounts for the slow pace of work, and when will residents begin to see substantial progress?
The implications of this delay extend beyond the construction site. Randle General Hospital serves residents across several surrounding communities, and prolonged disruption to its operations places additional pressure on other healthcare facilities receiving its displaced staff and patients.
There is also a financial risk. With inflation continuing to drive up the cost of construction materials, labour and other inputs, delays could increase the overall cost of the project, place additional pressure on public resources and potentially jeopardise timely completion.
We therefore call on @NBRRI_Official and the relevant authorities to explain the slow pace of construction despite the N805.4m disbursed to the two contractors.
N805.4m has been disbursed. Where is the commensurate progress, and when will Randle General Hospital be ready to serve the people again?
Public funds must translate into tangible results, and residents deserve clear answers.

UPDATE🚨
Following our report on the deplorable learning conditions at Kigbe LEA Primary School in Yebu Ward, Kwali Area Council, FCT, where 248 pupils have been sitting on the floor to learn for over 8years, there has been an encouraging development.
The Kwali Area Council Government has provided 20 wooden chairs for the pupils, while a concerned individual @V2SMART has facilitated the supply of 30 plastic chairs to the school. Thanks to @G_RationFlights for that. The same donor has also committed to providing additional chairs, with painting and minor renovation works scheduled to commence tomorrow.
These interventions are welcomed and we appreciate the efforts of everyone responding to the needs of these pupils and taking action to restore some comfort and dignity to their learning experience.
However, there is still much work to be done.
Beyond seating, the school urgently requires proper overhaul. Flooring, walls, windows, roofs and doors repair, and a safer, more conducive classroom environment needs to be prioritized now.
We urge the office of @GovWike and Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali to ensure the reconstruction of this school.
We will continue to follow this development and advocate for the lasting improvements these children deserve.
Dear @GovWike, @IretiKingibe, and Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, we call on you to urgently intervene at Kigbe LEA Primary School, Yebu Ward, Kwali Area Council, FCT, where 248 pupils have endured deplorable learning conditions for over eight years.
The attached video and images paint a distressing picture of the reality these children face daily. Instead of learning in a safe, decent, and conducive classroom, pupils are forced to sit on bare floors and makeshift wooden planks, using whatever limited space and materials are available to continue their education. The classroom floor is visibly deteriorated, with large patches of exposed earth, while the walls and general condition of the learning environment raise serious concerns about the safety, dignity, and well-being of the pupils.
For more than eight years, these children have continued to pursue their education under conditions that no child should have to endure. They deserve proper desks and chairs, a clean and secure classroom, adequate ventilation, and an environment that supports effective teaching and learning. Their circumstances raise important questions about the state of basic education infrastructure, the availability of essential learning facilities, and the attention being given to underserved communities.
The situation is particularly concerning amid rising temperatures and the increasing risks associated with extreme heat. In poorly maintained classrooms with unsuitable seating arrangements, children may face additional discomfort, fatigue, dehydration, and difficulty concentrating. How can we expect these pupils to learn effectively, remain comfortable, and reach their full potential when their basic learning needs have gone unmet for so long?
Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege that should depend on a child's location or circumstances. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn in an environment that protects their health, preserves their dignity, and gives them a fair chance to succeed. The children of Kigbe should not have to choose between enduring hardship and accessing an education.
Eight years is far too long for 248 children to learn without basic classroom furniture and a decent learning environment. Education must not mean enduring indignity.

Engr @DaveUmahi and Gov @HyacinthAlia, Benue people deserve better!
The Adikpo–Ushongo–Ugbema Junction Road in Benue State has remained in a terrible condition for over two years, subjecting residents, commuters, and businesses to avoidable hardship.
This is unacceptable! How long must communities endure economic losses, difficult journeys, and poor access to essential services while this road remains neglected?
We call on the @FMWNIG and @benuestategovt to urgently inspect the road, and ensure immediate, effective rehabilitation.

Dear Gov @AbdullahiASule,
Our visit to Karu Mada community, Kokona LGA, in Nasarawa State was very disheartening.
This is the only primary school in the community, constructed out of mud blocks, having roof leakages, broken doors and windows, and no proper furniture. Children learn sitting on bare sands and under leaking roofs.
Since inception, this community does not have potable water, they rely on rainwater and the village stream that dries up in the dry season. Similarly they don't have electricity, a functional PHC, or accessible roads.
We implore your office and the @NasarawaGovt, to assess the needs of this community and address them immediately.
