Ok…I have a TLDR for ya’ll, so get ready 😆 "Providing a service" doesn't mean someone isn't an e-grifter—it just means the hustle is subscription/donation based. And Joleen’s recent hustle is… Cheap. 1️⃣ Monetizing negativity by tearing apart people she’s never even had a real (or any) conversation with, all to fuel online dogpiles for views.👇🏻 ➡️ Targeting outrage and parasocial harassment with her relentless snark. Creating paid tiers where members watch her tear down creators indirectly relies on outrage. This is the core of e-grifting, Joleen. 2️⃣ Hiding bullying behind a paywall 👇🏻 ➡️ Offering perks like early releases or exclusive videos doesn't legitimize the nature of the content. Where’s the value? It’s a “service” delivering cruel, humiliating commentary to her audience. IMO, public shame on others isn't an innocent business model— it’s monetized behavior meant to profit from degrading others. ➡️ Joleen has done better before with previous content as a comedian, it’s just shifted recently. She could still use her stand-up background and commentary without resorting to degrading individuals. There’s a couple ways she can do this: - Criticizing ideas and media, not people.. Especially those she hasn’t interacted with. Most comedians “punch up” on mainstream culture or use self-deprecating humor. Targeting smaller Internet personalities is “punching down” — relying on personal tear-downs for 💰. Not cool. - Focusing on original creative content. Her 5 hr “SnarkTown USA” streams are the opposite of creative. She could showcase herself with original work such as parodies, sketches, or whatever worked for her in the past. Why doesn’t she do that? 🤷‍♀️ And lastly… 3️⃣ Pivoting for views over value 👇🏻 ➡️ Shifting away from standard content (like Big Brother recaps) toward targeted harassment (resulting in higher views) is the epitome of clout-chasing. When content is chosen by what generates the most outrage, rather than original insight or constructive commentary— that’s prioritizing cheap exploitative views over genuine content! Here’s the Google definition: “An e-grifter isn't defined solely by taking money for nothing; they are defined by how they generate that money and the ethics behind it. When someone builds an entire revenue model on target-harvesting, outrage-farming, and humiliating specific individuals behind a paywall, that is classic digital grifting.” Ok guys, that’s my .02 on Joleen Lunzer. She used to be funny, now she just sucks. And yes she is a grifter who lacks class and attacks other women.
