Travel once in a while, when you get the opportunity, it reduces; hatred racism, tribalism, thinking that the world is built around your village or tiny country, most importantly, it reduces STUPIDITY!

Whoever invented Mortar in Rwanda, well my God go bless you 😭😓😪😭
First, it is difficult to find, I only got some at Kimisagara Market from a lady who took me to her house to buy from the ones someone ordered at 20,000RWF.
The type of wood is most likely unsuitable cos it cracks as it dries, cos it is made/sold undried.
The Pestle has exactly the same shape with the all over, so it is basically 2 by 2 stick with both ends the same.
Now to the uses and why their invention works for them. Rwandans don't pound Akpu, they have Cassava for it, but they ferment it and dry the cassava then grind into powder to make Ubugali, they don't pound banga, I've never seen a palm fruit tree in Rwanda, palm oil is imported, they don't pound crayfish and fresh pepper, etc like Nigerians and Ghanaians
They only pound Cassava leaves (Isombe) to the best of my limited knowledge, that's what they use mortar for.
So it is rare to find it as a regular kitchen utensil, pounded cassava leaves and the other vegetables needed for Isombe soup is sold in weighted measurements at markets, so it gets bought as a paste.
I tried to teach a few Rwandans how to male Akpu and sell to Nigerians and other West Africans as a business.
But the few seemed not to be interested, citing the stressful process, need for strength and they seem to just lacked the ingenuity and interest to learn new things.
Whenever you visit Rwanda, try Isombe, ignore the looks, it is a very healthy nutrition!
Paul Biya lived a full life. He enthroned himself, killed everyone who stood against him, lived in wealth and affluence. Enjoyed the best of material things on earth.
Lied for decades that he was the best for the job and was able to weaponize poverty into a tool to garner support from his fellow countrymen - victims of his misrule!
He had the best doctors abroad, ate the best good, fvcked whoever he wanted, all the years he could sustain an election - but made sure there was no credible election in Cameroon.
Stole more money than his family can finish and now, he's dead from natural causes.
There's no moral to this story 😒
Not all dictators succeed but the ones who do get everything that comes with that.
That's the risk all dictators must take, and yes they always take it and mostly end up like Paul Biya, Augusto Pinochet, Ghadaffi, Francisco Franco, Abacha, Fulgencio Batista, Ferdinand Marcos, Idi Amin, etc
Watch out this list will have a new inductee into their Hall of Shame soon!
PresIDIOT Baller Tulumbu calling herself “Governor ” on stage should shows clears signs of what to expect from the unverifiable relic leading about 2.5% of the planet called earth!
What a shame? To ask party members if they are afraid-cos they know the havoc they’ve created😭
VIDEO: Tinubu Says He Won’t Attend All APC Campaign Stops, Cites Governance Responsibilities
President Bola Tinubu has told members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council not to expect him to attend every campaign event ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking at the council’s inauguration in Abuja on Wednesday, Tinubu urged members to take the party’s message to Nigerians across states and local government areas, saying he must also remain focused on governance and the country’s economic responsibilities.
