Disability inclusion must span the life course; from health information and early intervention to education, employment, family life, and ageing with dignity. At every stage, barriers must be identified and addressed so persons with disabilities can participate fully.

Young PWDs must be more than represented in these conversations. Their voices, experiences and priorities must help shape decisions that affect their lives. Thank you to SHAU and its partners for bringing stakeholders together. Against All Barriers.💪🏾 #WSBHD26 #UNAPD

Mental health matters beyond a single day! For persons with psychosocial disabilities, stigma and barriers to mental health services do not disappear when World Mental Health Day ends. Challenging stigma and advancing inclusion must be everyday commitments. #MentalHealthMatters

A white cane helps identify obstacles, but it cannot remove them. A parked car and blocking the sidewalk, a roadside stall blocking the path, or an open drain can turn an ordinary journey into an unsafe one for someone who is blind or partially sighted.

This #WhiteCaneAwarenessDay, take a look at your community. Are pedestrian pathways clear and safe? What barriers need to be addressed? What can you raise with your local council? Accessibility is a shared responsibility; let us remove barriers to independent movement. #UNAP

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day! Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, participate, and thrive. Cerebral Palsy may affect movement, posture, and coordination, but the barriers around a child should never determine what they can achieve. 👇🏾

We must also ask: Are learners included? Are their needs being addressed? Can every learner participate and learn? That is the conversation happening at Laroo Primary School today. Quality education must also be inclusive education. #BENProgramme #InclusiveEducation #UNAPD
