Last Saturday in Nakuru, we joined hundreds of young people, artists, storytellers, and changemakers at the Uwazi Festival, convened by @TribelessYouth , to celebrate the power of civic engagement, creativity, and collective action. Through meaningful conversations, artistic expression, and community dialogue under the theme #WhichWayKenya, participants reflected on the state of our democracy and the role each of us can play in shaping a more just, accountable, and inclusive future.

Corruption dies the moment transparency takes over. TISA joined @TIKenya for the Move for Integrity 2026 Run!
We walked alongside public servants, students, civil society teams, and everyday citizens who showed up because they care about where Kenya is heading. It was never just about the physical distance. It was about making a visible statement: integrity cannot remain a word reserved for speeches.
What if doing the right thing was simply the default? No fanfare, no special praise, just standard practice across every public office, business, and neighborhood.
That shift doesn't happen overnight. It builds slowly, through the quiet choices people make when nobody is watching. Every standard upheld moves us closer to the Kenya we actually want.

Siasa Place joined fellow citizens at the Uwazi Festival in Nakuru for Rada kwa Debe — a space for candid conversations on leadership, governance and the issues that matter to Kenyans.
Civic participation is more than casting a ballot. It is about asking questions, engaging with ideas, holding leaders accountable and making informed choices about the future we want.
As Kenya looks ahead, we continue to create spaces where citizens can speak, listen, question and participate.
Because democracy works best when citizens are not just spectators, but active participants.
