Since 2019, workers at no less than 19 local nonprofits have successfully organized unions at advocacy groups like LSP and ACLU, at arts orgs like the Walker and MPR music and beyond

Important: good faith negotiations aren’t always simple or easy. Good faith means the employer is honest, doesn’t play games, and is genuinely interested in a deal. There still can be a lot to work through. That’s ok!
We are proud & excited to announce our members have voted to approve our collective bargaining agreement with @FairStateCoop! Much of this year has been in tough, good faith negotiations. Now we're excited to begin a new chapter for everyone at Fair State & the industry at large.
