Trump has hamstrung the republicans for years. before he entered in 2016 the story was the next generation of young republicans ready to take the reigns. now all that time has passed, they've traded potential for power, and they're permanently tainted by him. flawless strategy.
if it ends up that the DEMs traded 2 GOP victories in '16 and '24 for 1 DEM in '20 and an open goal in '28 and '32, then Trump has been their best weapon since Joe the Plumber.
