Been out of the net for a bit, but here we go:
Fancy is a 12 year old lab/bloodhound mix who ended up in the shelter when her owner died. The girl who sent this to me is the one who hooked me up with Larry and couldn't believe how much this dog looked like him. She was in a house with other dogs and a cat, so she's very friendly and cool with other animals.
Heartworm positive ( weak positive), and rescue is willing to pay for some of the treatment.
The shelter is in Chatham county, NC and doesn't like getting bombarded with tons of requests, so I'm gonna post the link to the rescue that will get her out if someone can't go get her directly.
If we didn't just get another senior a few months ago to top off our pack, I'd be taking her.

I’m seeing a lot of posts from self-identified Democrats and progressives who’ve recently gone down the rabbit hole of binge-watching Charlie Kirk videos—curious to understand who he really is beyond the headlines.
Their reactions are remarkably similar.
They’re often shocked to realize that the version of Charlie they were conditioned to believe in bears little resemblance to reality.
What they find instead isn’t a caricature, but a thoughtful, articulate young man—firm in his convictions, yet respectful in how he expresses them.
He’s not the villain they were told to expect. He’s curious, honest, and often gracious in debate, even with those who strongly disagree with him.
His greatest “crime” appears to be his willingness to engage in civil discourse.
If you’re one of the millions beginning to realize you’ve been misled about Charlie Kirk—don’t let the awakening stop there.
Start questioning everything you’ve been told about the issues that divide us.
Because, like the narrative about Charlie, many of those stories are built on outright lies.
Keep digging, and you’ll eventually discover that your true enemy is big media and those who fund and control the narrative.

Hamas steals the humanitarian aid and throws it away to starve the civilians in Gaza. As you can see in this video which went viral on social media, this woman from Gaza curses Hamas for throwing away food and water bottles instead of providing it to the residents.
Hamas is starving the people of Gaza while using them as human shields. Hamas uses their suffering to provoke global outrage against Israel. The Palestinians know that the UN, the media, world leaders, politicians, human rights organizations and activists will always blame the Jews and Israel and not the Palestinian Islamists and jihadists who are portrayed as "victims" in order to fit and preserve the false political narrative in the West regarding the Jewish state, the Palestinians, the Middle East, Arab world, Islam, terrorism, etc.

1. Most things that are compostable require UV light. That means those straws will not compost once placed in a garbage bag. Note warning on box. Also, the overall impact on the environment of producing them is most likely higher than making regular straws because it always is.
