Michigan's builders are back.
Last year 4 student teams from V1 joined Y Combinator. Startups founded by our members have raised over $20 million.
Product Studio applications close September 12.
V1 is the University of Michigan's home for builders, innovators, and founders.
Product Studio is our flagship incubator. Eight weeks to take an idea from 0 to 1 with mentorship, resources, and a pitch in front of investors at Demo Day.

Telora’s founder Eliam Medina is coming to Michigan on Thursday, Oct 29🛠️
If you’re starting a company, or thinking about it, you’ll want to meet him.
Eliam started Telora after his last company, Willing (YC S15, Founders Fund), was acquired. Since then, he’s helped hundreds of students get their startups going.
He and his CTO (V1 alum!) Riya Dev are running a workshop where you’ll learn:
- how to tell if your idea is promising
- how to get customers
- why you should probably have a cofounder
- and the common mistakes that kill startups

@ambrook is coming to Michigan tomorrow night.
They started out building financial software for farms, and now they're doing it for contractors, trucking companies, property managers, and more asset-heavy businesses. This past August, they closed their $30M Series B.
Akshay Gupta (Michigan alum, engineering) and Nolan Cunningham (product ops) are giving the talk, and they're hiring 2027 interns and new grads.
