TONIGHT AT 10: One of the state's most successful high school basketball coaches, Steve Collins (@TeachHoopsBBall) reflects on his decision to retire, the best players he's coached, and how the game has changed in his time as coach and teacher. Don't miss it on @WKOW at 10!

After 27 years, Steve Collins (@TeachHoopsBBall) steps away from Madison Memorial as one of the most influential coaches in program history. Three state championships and 14 conference titles since 1998 reflect the results, but not the full impact. #wisbb More for @wmtv15news:

🚨STATE RECORD🚨 This past weekend, #22, Anthony Miller from Madison Memorial broke the State Record for Most 3-PT FGs Made in a State Tournament. Miller made 10 3-PT FGS in an outstanding State performance! The previous record was 9, set by Jake Showalter from Germantown in 2012. #wiaabb #staterecord

I just don’t understand how each state hasn’t adopted a shot clock already. The shot clock is the ultimate player development tool at the grassroots/high school. The 24-second FIBA clock that is used at the lowest levels of basketball around the world is the reason players like Jokić and Dončić are such incredible decision-makers. They played with a shot clock since they were in basketball diapers.

BREAKING: Both proposals for a shot clock in basketball were voted down by the WIAA Advisory Council this morning, meaning they will not be considered at tomorrow's Board of Control meeting. #wisbb #wisgb
