We need the Province to do more for the violent Mentally Ill in our city.
Violent murder and assaults downtown Vancouver today were horrific and random.
My thoughts are with the victim and survivors, the witnesses today, and with residents and visitors struggling with feeling our city is less safe.
Huge gratitude for @VancouverPD first responders.
What would you choose to fix Lions Gate closures when a person in distress is threatening to jump:
A) install same fencing used on the Iron Workers Bridge.
B) ask the VPD to only close traffic lane closest to the person
Or C).It’s fine to close the bridge for a few hours.
