you can learn more about where AI is heading from Stripe’s roadmap than Anthropic’s
I cannot tell you how bullish I am on Stripe in the agentic era.
They are the ONLY connector inside Grok Bot that have the kind of granular permissions + human-in-the-loop prompts I *expect* for agents.
Every other connector - like ones from Google for eg Gmail or Docs - feel hopelessly amateur. Like WHY do I not have a way to have the Gmail connector ask for this kind of user permission before it lets an agent read any *sensitive* emails like password reset ones etc.
Stripe ygmi and I have no idea why others are not copying the very least what Stripe does
last year I decided I was going to grab life by the balls
it's been kicking me in the ass ever since
now I wake up every morning, drink my coffee and voluntarily walk back into the ass kicking
very grateful for this opportunity
bad news for anyone building on supabase + cloudflare
grokbot has confirmed there are no viable startup ideas left
would recommend migrating before this becomes a bigger issue
this is a code editor
the grok team apparently didn't think their coding agent needed
> 3D military command centre with live surveillance
> restricted airspace
> blast radius simulations
just to edit typescript files
after building one, i think they were right
if you're looking to overengineer something equally unnecessary, here's what i used:
> next.js + react, app
> three.js / r3f, 3D command centre
> avara ui + tailwind v4, ui
> helixdb, dependency graph
> hugging face + onnx, local embeddings
> chokidar + websockets, live updates
> grok hooks + acp/mcp, agent control

I stopped hand-picking UI components.
Now my AI agent builds the page for me, using redesigned @shadcn /ui-based components, through MCP.
Meet AvaraUi.com : → 189 components → 24 website sections & app blocks → AI agents MCP support → Built on shadcn/ui

just vibe-coded a $10bn SaaS killer this weekend
started thinking about the 7 months of
> getting SOC 2
> cold outreach
> demos
> stakeholder calls
> security questionnaires
> contract negotiations
and maintaining software nobody’s agreed to buy yet
may have misunderstood the moat
anyway gonna vibe another startup to take my mind off it
microsoft kept Internet Explorer around for 27 years..
now, peak of the ai race:
> github keeps going down
> azure inference is struggling to keep up
> and their own models are still playing catch-up
naturally, they've concluded the problem is having too many engineers
I don't know how to measure when things went wrong at Microsoft, but I think removing the audio mixer is a solid landmark
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Recent versions of Windows have a volume mixer.

ai has more emotion in its voice than I do
Meet Dessa, our speech model trained from scratch on human conversation.
Hear it for yourself: block.xyz/dessa
the internet might actually be safe again
hackers have so many options they're probably suffering from decision paralysis
