Fifty years ago today, the White Sox wore shorts to work so we told our team they could do it, too.
After all, we are a baseball history museum so we took the photo in front of Bill Veeck’s plaque since it was his idea!

Complete professional PR respect to whoever got George McCaskey to guest umpire the @TheSavBananas game at Wrigley Field tonight.
Career baseball ump and Bears owner McCaskey came off as very likable, regular guy. Well done whoever set that up. 🫡

We understand how upsetting it is to be left without food after waiting 90 minutes, only to be informed that the order is being sent back due to a delivery issue. We would like to look into the issue for you. To locate your account and investigate further, please send us a DM with the email address and phone number linked to your Uber account, along with the order details.
Also the random person that called me told me that the food was “returned to the restaurant” — so does that mean that it just goes in the trash? Wasted? Seems like a pretty bad system and a big waste of time and food.

Late to this super fun one from @bensbiz trip to the Joliet Slammers' prison game. Best part: Probably first Mlb dot com mention of SNL's Jim Downey

Spent some time inside the walls and behind bars for pro ballpark #158. The Big House Ballgame between the Joliet Slammers and the Gateway Grizzlies inside the Joliet Correctional Center. Baseball was played here starting in 1914. Slammers did a really nice job with this event.
