The #EU is Israel's largest trading partner, accounting for 30% of its trade in goods. The EU-ISR economic agreement stipulates 'respect for human rights' (art 2). The #ICJ's recognition of the risk of Genocide obliges the EU to suspend the agreement. policy.trade.ec.europa.eu/eu…

This is what ethnic cleansing looks like, and every single leader who defended or enabled it should be in jail.

My husband, Ruben Vardanyan, the philanthropist, businessman, and former Minister of State of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was arrested and detained by the Azerbaijani authorities at the border this morning as he tried to leave with thousands of Armenians. Ruben has stood with the Arsakh people during the 10-month blockade and has suffered with them in their struggle for survival. I ask for your prayers and support for my husband's safe release. Safaa is 13 months old, and menaced by malnutrition. War, hunger and poverty intertwine in Yemen where half a million children are acutely malnourished. But foreign aid is dwindling. Our second report from Yemen with @Wburema @Goktay @AhmedBaider1

If ever there was doubt that our eyes (retinas to be exact) are pieces of brain extruded from the rest to eventually reside outside the cranial vault, see this video. Also why viewing sunlight has such a direct effect on the brain. The eyes are (include) brain. Sound narrated.

We have a corrupt Russian-financed government giving oligarchs time to sell up while refusing asylum to Ukrainian refugees. It is beyond sickening, beyond enraging. The combination of greed, callousness, incompetence & daylight larceny has gone way too far. They must go.

Viva la resistenza!
Two days ago the Taliban banned music in Afghanistan. Tonight, in Kabul.
This isn’t The Thick of It. This is real. This really is Raab saying, “Do you know whether the crowd has thinned out yet because of the terrorist attack? It was extraordinary that they all stayed.” To which Boris echoes, “Amazing, amazing, yes.” WTF.

I just re-watched 5 Broken Cameras. If you haven’t watched it, please do. It gives context and clarity to the ‘complex’ Israeli-Palestinian ‘conflict’. If you can’t afford to watch it, DM me and I will cover the cost. @burnat_emad
