In a paper published in @NatureAstronomy, @SWang_like_cats & I presented a new interferometric technique for scanning planetary cores. We showed its feasibility for Earth data & confirmed the existence of a Martian core:r=1812±20km. @SEDI_AGU @EGU_Seismo @anuearthscience @ourANU

You can do seismology with a single station & get meaningful results for planetary interiors (example here is Mars). This technique is useful in planetary science where deployment of a full network is unaffordable. @SWang_like_cats & @hrvojetkalcic: nature.com/articles/s41550-0…
