True Story: After a bipartisan candidate forum in Basehor, Kansas, last week, I was told by a staffer on another #KS02 candidate's campaign, "Don't talk about #Project2025. It's not going to work. It has nothing to do with DJT." A hit dog hollers, folks.

Ok, let’s all play with Stupid for minute…so exactly how do you “disagree” with something you “know nothing about” or “have no idea” who is behind, saying or doing the thing you disagree with? Since #Project2025 is designed to institutionalize Trumpism and you know nothing about it, then why do you echo some of its policy priorities during your rallies? Coincidence? And how exactly don’t you know that Project 2025 Director Paul Dans served as your chief of staff at the Office of Personnel Management, and Associate Director Spencer Chretien served as your special assistant and associate director of presidential personnel? And folks say we should be worried about Biden.

Happy 4th of July! As I was walking in the 53rd Annual Collins Park Neighborhood Parade today I reflected on why I’m running to represent #KS02. There were so many young families I met who need access to affordable childcare. So many seniors I shook hands with who are thinking about how they will age in place with dignity and good health. So many young people that want a good paying job and affordable housing available when they graduate. And I had some great conversations with Republicans who share my values and also want to see a better America. Our nation’s independence was hard fought. And we know that it is still a fight for us to live up to the principles we were founded on. My request to you is that you make a plan to vote on August 6th and November 5th, and remember to text your friends to remind them to make a plan to vote. This election is about us collectively deciding what kind of future we want to build. Not just in #Kansas, but across the country.
