Kleinmann for Congress

My statement on today's Kansas Supreme Court ruling: "In 2022, Kansans voted overwhelmingly to protect the right to choose, rejecting efforts to amend our state constitution to strip away reproductive rights. Today’s Kansas Supreme Court ruling further solidifies this victory, protecting access to safe and legal abortions. However, the threat of a national abortion ban still looms, risking the criminalization of expectant mothers and their doctors. As a candidate for the Kansas Second Congressional District, I am committed to safeguarding this right and ensuring that personal medical decisions remain private. Kansas voters and courts have spoken: reproductive freedom should be here to stay. Yet, some career politicians are engaging in a race to the bottom to deny the rights that Kansans want and our Kansas Constitution protects. I will be a representative who champions these values, protects our rights, and ensures a future where everyone’s freedoms are respected. Together, we can build a stronger Kansas where our communities thrive and our rights are secure."
