the idle meandering of a failing mind is not good to witness especially daily. we take our cues & model ourselves on exemplary persons not impaired persons. in the short run T***p's non sequiturs might seem comical but over all, try to imagine how elevated the US populace would be if a truly intelligent, eloquent, inspiring President was in the White House addressing us often in calm, measured, informed tones like FDR's fireside chats, or Obama's speeches, or, God save us, the beautifully modulated English of Lincoln, Jefferson. we are missing so much, like persons starving for vitamins not knowing what is afflicting us, a scurvy of the spirit.
