this is gold's quantum FUD but it's way worse because you can't software update gold.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Long term bond yields are tightening financial conditions
Stunning. Pending home sales in the US fell to an all-time low in September

Do or die spot here for the most important commodity in the world & input to the cost of almost everything Trump might try to pull something out into midterms (not sure what that could be at this point), but this is about as clean of a "cup and handle" as you can get..

Jet fuel crack (Gulf Coast jet minus Brent): Sept 2026: $70.1/bbl, a record in data back to 1990 Prior high: $66.3 (Jan 2023) 1990-2025 avg: $11.6 The margin alone now tops Brent's full annual average price in 24 of the last 36 years. Airfares, meet math.

Next 12-24 months(?): AI unwind triggers some form of Fed backstop -> BTC shoots to 100k+ -> Incentivize to mine again -> some AI DCs pivot to BTC mining -> production cost rises amidst de-globalization & monetization of energy -> BTC becomes solidified as energy backed SoV

Growth slowdown expectations from AI concerns bringing down the long end paired with sticky inflation from geopolitics = real rates coming down. Positive on a relative basis for BTC and Gold. Won’t be immune to risk off vol event, but nice to see BTC trading how it “should”.

Brent breaking out, just pushed back above September’s highs. Oil hedges mentioned in here are starting to print today. Shoutout to the homie @qthomp, much credit to him for the idea🫡

This is really interesting actually. Binary options allowing you to speculate on individual components of a company’s performance. For example, going long trading volume on a very polarizing name instead of betting directionally.
SEC just approved binary options tied to company KPIs, like trading volume and revenue. Markets are moving toward a million ways to express a view on a single company. Expect a lot more new products.

No where safe to hide anymore > Software at risk of being disrupted by AI > AI at risk of getting commoditized > Gold at risk of being discovered on asteroids in Space > Bitcoin at risk from quantum > Quantum computers at risk of being blown up > Cash at risk of inflation Ahh

Bitcoin has held up quite well (both outright & on a relative basis) in the face of AI fears, Asia session puking, Ukraine/Middle East showing signs of potential escalation, quantum concerns, even a plague. Doesn’t mean it goes up tomorrow, but surely macro PMs are taking note.
