Today, we approved two key policy frameworks: the Kapenguria Municipality Spatial Plan and IDP, which will guide land use, infrastructure, and environmental conservation. After meeting with stakeholders, the plans now head to the County Assembly for approval.

Inspection of Siyoi Muruny' Water Supply Project in West Pokot County, accompanied by Governor H.E @SimonKachapinK
The project involves construction of:
Conventional Water Treatment Works (TW) at Kabichbich (11.2km from the dam site), with a capacity of 38.8 million liters a day at the ultimate-year 2035.
Water Storage tanks of total capacity of 17.8 million liters.
A total of 127km bulk water transmission and distribution pipelines.
The project is 97% complete and will supply potable water to a population of 350,000 persons by year 2035.
