I understand your concern but for context, this Umass game had a windchill below freezing and was raining the entire game. @Cole_Kracmer1 @BoboBrewer rode it out all 4 quarters with me and I’d do it all over again!

I can see his point. I used to think running 10 poles (back and forth) for a position player was a waste of time too 😂
But looking back, it did help me in one way…
Mentally.
Every time we ran, I’d tell myself, “Be #1.”
I didn’t care how tired I was. I wanted to finish first.
I wanted to show everyone I was first.
So I would push myself to a place where I was uncomfortable and keep going.
And honestly, that mentality carried over into my performance.
Did running miles make me a better baseball player physically? Probably not.
But learning how to push myself when I wanted to quit?
That definitely did.
And learning how to will my success?
Absolutely.

Going forward something needs to be done about this. This absolutely should not be a strike.
This is one of the worst headlines ever. The media hyped him up to something he didn’t ask for, and now they’re saying he is “synonymous with failure” when he’s a starting QB at a major university where he lost to #1 Ohio state in the shoe, and in the Florida swamp…
From @TheAthletic: Many people are having a bad year in college football, but Arch Manning is having one of the worst. The quarterback has gone from preseason Heisman Trophy favorite and projected No. 1 NFL Draft pick to a man synonymous with failure. nyti.ms/4q0ie4A

Powerful message from Demetrius Knight Jr. on why he decided to play in the Citrus Bowl with @GamecockFB:
"I have kids. I didn't want my daughter or son to ask me why I didn't play in the last game. I don't want to give them an excuse. If you start it, finish it."

🏈 SPECIAL MOMENT: “Hey, Rusty! I wanted to share this amazing video of College Station High School players showing Sportsmanship after the game last night. The other team lost and one player was on the floor. Some of the CSHS players ran to him to lift him up. So proud of these young men and their parents.” - Sabina Lucio Sauseda
