The idea that eating cholesterol clogs your arteries was born in 1913, in a laboratory full of rabbits fed egg yolk dissolved in sunflower oil.
Nikolai Anitschkow, a young pathologist in St Petersburg, extracted cholesterol from egg yolks, dissolved it in sunflower oil, and fed it to rabbits.
Their arteries filled with fatty streaks and plaques.
The diet-heart idea had its founding experiment.
Rabbits eat grass. A wild rabbit never swallows a milligram of cholesterol in its life, and its body was never built to deal with a dose of it.
When researchers tried the same feeding on dogs, the dogs cleared it. Their arteries stayed clean until scientists suppressed their thyroids with drugs to force the result.
The meat eater shrugged the cholesterol off. The grass eater choked on it.
Almost nobody stopped to ask which of the two a human being resembles.
A century on, the cholesterol-fed rabbit is still a standard model in heart research, and the guidelines are still written as if you were one.

The reliability and security of cryptocurrency? It is impossible to gain trust in cryptocurrency among the Chinese. Trying to use stable coin that most people are unwilling to accept to support debt is a very naive fantasy. Gold credit is the highest,no substitute.

If you own silver, you'll want to see this before December 31.
Silver slammed into $50 twice in 45-years, 1980 and 2011. Then it finally broke through and ran to $115.
Friday it closed at $49.28. Just $2.28 above the line that built the entire move.
One close on December 31 finishes four candles at once. The month, the quarter, the half-year and the year.
Hold $45.38 to $48.21 and the breakout was real. Lose it and the 6-month chart says the next real floor is $35.18.
I mapped every level that decides it in the article below.

This weekend, major cities in CN experienced a wave of gold rush. A similar scene also occurred over a month after April 12, 2013. With the support of Chinese Dama, 1100 tons of gold were imported in a month, and the COMEX gold price rose by about $300.

In Colorado, researchers gave breastfed babies puréed beef as their very first solid food instead of the iron-fortified cereal on every weaning chart, and the beef babies grew bigger heads.
Nancy Krebs took 88 babies, breastfed and four months old, and split them at random.
From five months, half were spoon-fed puréed beef. Half got the iron-fortified baby cereal American paediatricians had handed out as first food for generations.
The babies took to the beef just as happily as the cereal.
Between seven and twelve months, the heads of the beef babies grew faster. The amount of zinc and protein a baby took in predicted how much its head grew.
Her team kept going. Breastfed babies given more protein from meat grew longer, without putting on extra fat.
Then they took formula-fed babies and gave half of them meat purée and half of them yoghurt, cheese and whey from five months to a year.
The meat babies climbed up the growth charts for length. The dairy babies slipped down them, and got heavier for their height instead.
At two years old, the difference was still there.
The World Health Organization now says babies should have meat, fish or eggs every day from six months if they can.
The jar on the supermarket shelf still says baby rice.

Celebrating the Feast of All Saints dates back to the 400’s.
November 1 was chosen as the date of the feast by Pope Gregory IV in the 800’s.
This Feast is nearly 1100 years older than Protestantism.
That Translates to 11.5.
Of interest. Any thoughts? Some Anons suggest that the belligerent Occupation may end on 11.3 if the Republicans win the House and Senate. That is, we the people take back what is ours?

Why bother digging it out of the ground when you can create another 400 paper claims instead? 🤡

The Opening Edge
Sunday Futures Open Outlook
November 1, 2026
Tonight’s open marks the first session following the return to Standard Time, with trading desks recalibrating for a heavy macro week highlighted by the upcoming FOMC policy decision and October nonfarm payrolls. Equity index futures enter the Sunday session after a sharp Friday drop, with S&P 500 futures (/MES) settling at 7,614.50, Nasdaq 100 futures (/MNQ) closing at 28,545.75, and Russell 2000 futures (/M2KZ26) holding at 2,821.8. Equity markets continue to absorb rate pressure as long term yields hold firm ahead of central bank updates.
In energy, December WTI crude oil (/CL) enters the bell settled at $102.95/bbl, maintaining a strong risk premium driven by geopolitical friction, while November natural gas (/NG) sits at $2.883/MMBtu. Over on the metals floor, December gold (/GC) broke down through key psychological support to close at $3,884.9/oz, while silver (/SIL) sank to $49.135/oz. Across the ag floor, December corn (/ZC) enters at $447.50/bu ($4.47 1/2), soybeans (/ZSF27) sit at $1,234.00/bu ($12.34), Chicago wheat (/ZW) trades at $603.25/bu ($6.03 1/4), and October live cattle (/LE) enter near $220.775.
The primary tell out of the gate tonight is Gold’s Sub $3,900 Breakdown vs. Crude’s $102+ Floor Defense. If /CL holds $102.50 and pushes back toward $105.00, energy cost pressures will keep bond yields anchored high and challenge equity index dip buyers. But if /MES and /MNQ hold Friday’s settlement floors while gold (/GC) manages an overnight stabilization, systematic CTA buyers will look to stage a relief bounce ahead of mid week central bank events. Watch the first 30 to 60 minutes closely; opening order flow will be fast and reactive.
Energy Desk
/CL Crude Oil December WTI crude enters the session in a solid technical posture after settling Friday at $102.95/bbl. Middle East shipping monitoring and supply risks continue to support the baseline.
What to watch: The size of the initial up gap at the bell, and whether commercial buyers step in to aggressively defend the $102.50 pivot.
Comments: Geopolitical premium play. High potential for momentum follow through toward $105.00 if weekend headline flow confirms further shipping disruptions.
Opening Edge: If /CL holds above $103.00 through the first 30 minutes, expect momentum algorithms to chase an immediate upside extension.
/NG Natural Gas November natural gas enters the session sitting at $2.883/MMBtu, balancing shoulder season storage builds against late autumn temperature forecasts.
What to watch: Updated early November weather maps and storage injection estimates across central power burn regions.
Comments: Thin liquidity alert. Highly susceptible to erratic stop runs if overnight trading overlaps with shifting regional weather forecasts.
Opening Edge: If /NG clears and defends $2.92 out of the gate, look for speculative longs to drive an early recovery push toward $3.00.
Metals Desk
/GC Gold December gold futures enter tonight's trade at $3,884.9/oz after a heavy Friday liquidation pushed paper gold well under the $4,000 threshold.
What to watch: U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) behavior and Asian cash session physical demand following Friday's slide to $3,884.9.
Comments: Severe chart breakdown. Real yields and dollar strength triggered stops, turning $3,900 into immediate technical resistance.
Opening Edge: A clean hourly reclamation of $3,900 early tonight confirms institutional accounts are stepping in to absorb sell pressure and defend hard safety assets.
/SIL Silver December silver enters the session hovering at $49.135/oz, tracking gold’s liquidation while absorbing broader industrial de-risking.
What to watch: Relative strength versus gold out of the gate and speculative positioning in early Asian trade.
Comments: High beta mover. Silver remains hyper sensitive to real yield spikes and dollar fluctuations.
Opening Edge: If silver clears and defends $49.50 early tonight, expect speculative long volume to re accelerate toward $50.50.
Equity Index Desk
/MES S&P 500 Futures S&P 500 futures settled Friday at 7,614.50, feeling the heat from elevated borrowing costs and corporate input pressures.
What to watch: Whether overnight trade defends the 7,600 support shelf or triggers a secondary liquidation wave toward 7,550.
Comments: Yield sensitive consolidation. Equity bulls need to hold baseline support to prevent a broader multi week corrective sequence.
Opening Edge: Holding above 7,615 in the first hour confirms institutional buyer support, setting up an early relief push toward 7,660.
/MNQ Nasdaq Futures Nasdaq 100 futures enter the session settled at 28,545.75, absorbing tech sector valuation adjustments ahead of key economic data.
What to watch: 10-year Treasury yield direction in early Asian trade and relative performance against /MES.
Comments: Growth proxy. Highly sensitive to any upward momentum in bond yields.
Opening Edge: If /MNQ holds above 28,550 in the first 30 minutes, momentum algorithms will target an immediate relief push toward 28,800.
/M2K Russell 2000 Futures The "Truth Teller." Small caps settled Friday at 2,821.8, showing relative stability despite broader equity headwinds.
What to watch: Early market breadth clues and short covering follow through at the open.
Opening Edge: If /M2K continues to outpace /MNQ tonight, it confirms authentic underlying broad market participation.
Monday's Opening Edge
Grain Desk
/ZC Corn December corn futures enter the week sitting at $447.50/bu ($4.47 1/2). The market is balancing seasonal fall harvest pressure against commercial scale down buying.
What to watch: Early week harvest progress reports across the Midwest and commercial end user scale down bids.
Comments: Harvest baseline. Tighter carryout models keep upside potential intact once seasonal harvest pressure clears.
Opening Edge: If December corn holds above $4.45 at the 8:00 PM ET reopen, look for commercial buyers to defend technical support and spark a bounce back toward $4.52.
/ZW Wheat December Chicago wheat enters the session sitting at $603.25/bu ($6.03 1/4), with Kansas City wheat (/KE) at $643.50/bu ($6.43 1/2) and Minneapolis wheat (/MWE) at $6.4025/bu ($6.40 1/4).
What to watch: Black Sea export shipping headlines and international tender activity out of North Africa.
Comments: High beta ag leader. Tends to trigger rapid automated order flow across the broader ag floor during thin overnight hours.
Opening Edge: If wheat reclaims $6.08 in the first hour of ag trade, expect fund buying to spill over and lift corn and soybeans.
/ZS Soybeans January soybeans (/ZSF27) enter tonight's trade at $1,234.00/bu ($12.34), with soybean oil (/ZL) at 65.81 and meal (/ZM) at $324.70, as traders monitor Midwest harvest pace and South American planting weather.
What to watch: 8:00 PM ET weather map updates for Brazil and export sales announcements to China.
Comments: Demand supported. Physical processing margins and commercial end users continue providing a firm baseline.
Opening Edge: Holding above $1,230.00 ($12.30) at the reopen signals commercial support, setting up a recovery push toward $1,245.00.
Livestock Desk
/LE Live Cattle December live cattle futures enter the week sitting at $220.775 ($220.77 1/2), balancing domestic animal allocations against cash cattle trade expectations.
What to watch: Cash trade expectations for the coming week and boxed beef cutout movement.
Comments: Structural firming. Tight domestic cattle numbers continue supporting the long term trend.
Opening Edge: If December live cattle defend $220.00 out of the gate, expect buyers to target a retest of $223.00.
/GF Feeder Cattle October feeder cattle enter the week at $337.475 ($337.47 1/2), adjusting to shifting feed input costs and feeder calf demand.
What to watch: The 8:00 PM ET ag reopen. Any movement in corn input costs will directly impact feeder execution.
Comments: High margin sensitivity. Softer grain prices provide immediate breathing room for feeder cattle margins.
Opening Edge: If corn futures open soft at 8:00 PM ET, look for feeder cattle to build on momentum toward $340.00.
/HE Lean Hogs December lean hogs enter the week at $59.000 ($59.00), navigating seasonal pork cutout trends and packer slaughter pace.
Comments: Technical range. Watch packer margin adjustments and cutout movement.
Opening Edge: If /HE holds above $58.50 early, expect range bound traders to step in for an early push toward $60.00.
Things To Watch Immediately After Open
Does Crude Oil (/CL) hold $102.50 or push toward $105.00 on Middle East news?
Does /MES defend Friday's 7,614.50 settlement baseline or test lower support?
Do Gold (/GC) and Silver (/SIL) stabilize after Friday's drops to $3,884.9 and $49.135?
Does /M2K continue to show relative strength over /MNQ out of the gate?
How do grains (/ZC & /ZS) and livestock (/GF) respond as the ag floor reopens at 8:00 PM ET?
Opening Levels That Matter
Friday Settlement Baseline: S&P 500 (/MES) at 7,614.50, WTI Crude (/CL) at $102.95, Dec Gold (/GC) at $3,884.9, Dec Corn (/ZC) at $447.50.
S&P 500 Key Floor: 7,600.00; holding above keeps short term momentum in favor of bulls.
WTI Crude Pivot: $102.50; holding above keeps the upside path open toward $105.00+.
Gold Structural Resistance: $3,900.00; key technical reclaimed level needed to stem the paper sell off.
The Bottom Line
Tonight’s session hinges on whether gold can find a baseline after breaking under $3,900 while crude oil maintains its $102+ geopolitical support.
Keep your eyes squarely on the triple node relationship between /CL ($102.95), /GC ($3,884.9), and /MES (7,614.50). If crude surges while gold remains under pressure and equity futures hold key support, big money will execute a cautious, defensive playbook.
Let the openinginute noise clear out, avoid chasing Sunday gaps, and execute cleanly at your hard technical levels.
