Your ALL my accountabilibuddies now.
Every time you see me online (That's not the weekend or a holiday) I need you to pester me about if I've hit my word count for the day and then shame me for procrastinating when I inevitably haven't.

When we studied this in school the FIRST THING we covered before cracking open our copies was the fact that the Odyssey is told nonlinearly.
If countless people across thousands of years enjoyed it then maybe its not such a gimmick
Nolan's obsessions with the non-linear storytelling gimmick really hurts this film. It jumps around so much, and spends so little time on any one particular moment or scene, that you never really feel like Odysseus is on an epic journey spanning many years. When he makes it home, you never feel like he's been gone for 20 years. The film does not capture the grandeur and scope of the original epic. That's why it feels rushed and too long simultaneously. The movie comes off like a rough draft. Nolan was searching for the actual story but never quite found it.

The Odyssey, the original work by Homer, is told non-linearly.

Life is so much better when I log offline to sink 3 hours into my writing or watch a couple episodes of my violent dragon show while I practice needlepoint or go into the garden and dig my little trenches for a larger carrot yield.
Inssurace rates are higher for male drivers. Why??
Because men are more likely to speed and take risks.
Statistical crash data has consistently indicated that men are involved in significantly more fatal car accidents, DUIs, and major traffic violations.
For those who might deign to read the source material in defiance of their ready made opinions.
Nolan is so determined to fit everything into his post-Catholic morality that he took the Greek concept of xenia, a reciprocal guest-host relationship among civilised people, and universalised it into a simple "be kind" golden rule and made that the central message of his adaptation of The Odyssey.
He's so intolerant of anything alien in the source material that he makes Odysseus of all people a traumatised war veteran processing guilt for Troy.
Having seen the movie I will assert they played their rolls, brief they were, well.
The outrage was the most nothing to have ever burgered.
I'm sorry for whatever fuel I may have contributed to such a blaze.
Education, housing, vehicals, food, game systems. Everything is so damn expensive.
We are speed running the commons decent into penniless beggars one consumable at a time.
Valve says the global memory shortage isn’t improving, warning that RAM and SSD prices are likely to keep rising.
“There’s no light at the end of the tunnel, honestly. It’s still getting worse.”
Valve says memory manufacturers are focusing on high-end chips for AI servers, leaving less supply for consumer hardware.
“Things that were commodity items a year or two ago… now you have to negotiate really hard just to secure a few thousand. And there are so many more people in line in front of you.”
Valve sees no improvement anytime soon.
Ok I have some thoughts
But overall I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
Off to see the #Odyssey
