🚨 IMMIGRANT JAILED AFTER POUNCING ON A WOMAN AT WREXHAM TRAIN STATION 🚨 Bharoz Suleman, 30, who lives in Denbigh, has been jailed for three and a half years for attempted robbery. Mold Crown Court heard he pounced on a woman at Wrexham General Station on 28 February. She and two friends were heading home after a day out in Chester when he targeted her handbag. Judge Simon Mills said Suleman was out looking for an offence to commit. He made a determined attempt to snatch the bag and used more than minimal force. The judge also said Suleman had screwdrivers and similar items on him. Suleman had a Kurdish interpreter in court. His defence said he had suffered trauma in his home country. He then accused the victim of lying so he could claim compensation. The woman said the attack has affected her mental wellbeing ever since. She feels violated, can no longer trust people, and feels anxious in public. Another woman targeted in our town. This will not be the last unfortunately. Stay aware.

🚨FIVE JAILED AFTER CASH COLLECTED FROM WREXHAM NAIL BAR £1.65M MIGRANT-SMUGGLING GANG 🚨 A nail bar in Wrexham was used by an organised crime group that smuggled Vietnamese migrants into the UK and laundered more than £1.65 million. Five members of the gang have been jailed for a combined total of nearly 40 years following a National Crime Agency investigation with French and Belgian partners. The group, led by twin brothers Vinh Van Nguyen and Quang Van Nguyen (both 31, from Coventry), advertised an “end-to-end” smuggling service from Vietnam. Passports were taken in France before migrants crossed by lorry or small boat. The documents were then used to enforce debt bondage once they arrived in the UK. Investigators traced hundreds of money transfers totalling over £1.65 million. Before their arrest the gang were seen travelling from Coventry to a Wrexham nail bar to collect cash. They were later stopped with thousands of pounds and multiple Vietnamese passports. Sentenced today at Liverpool Crown Court: • Vinh Van Nguyen – 12 years 6 months • Quang Van Nguyen – 9 years 9 months • Van Huy Nguyen – 7 years 2 months • Lia-Chien Trong – 6 years • Sy Trai Ho – 4 years They collected the cash in Wrexham. They called the people they smuggled “chickens.” They sent £1.65 million back to Vietnam. Today five of them were jailed, the rest are yet to be caught.
