I've always found this frustrating.
You or your child has a respiratory infection. It's not flu or COVID. Your doctor can only tell you, 'you have a virus'.
Could it be a little bit more specific?
We hope to help answer this question, non-invasively, and for free.

I am looking for potential PhD students to work on infectious disease models.
My university has a deadline of Mar 30.
Australian students will have an advantage in the application, but I would welcome applications from strong foreign students.

That median (which ignores all the programs that haven't gotten there yet!) hides a diverse spectrum of elimination pathways, but together they suggest we need to plan for the long haul, finding ways to maintain quality case management and vector control coverage for many years

The alternating growth pattern of clones within a ductal carcinoma in situ below was one of the most intriguing observations and I keep coming back to it.
The coin provides a sense of the scale.
The clones have co-existed for ~10 years.
Why didn’t one replace the other?
Replying to @LomakinAI
If everything is done right, we get a clonal map just like the one below.
The tumour (an early stage breast cancer) tissue is coloured based on the dominant clone. A striking heterogeneity spans centimetres of tissue!
