“Everyone is in favor of free speech. Hardly a day passes without its being extolled, but some people's idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone else says anything back, that is an outrage.” - Winston Churchill

It's over. The blue wave never materialized in Texas. Props to the Democrats for always trying but always failing. You have to appreciate their determination. It's really something lol.
TEXAS 🗳️ Texas has now banked 5,105,300 early votes, with Republicans holding a 582,530 firewall. The modelled split sits around 55% R / 44% D — a touch softer for Republicans than their 2024 share (56.0%), and a bit firmer for Democrats than 2022 (43.2%).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Texas doesn't have party registration, meaning voters don’t register with a party. These nunbers are fabricated. Over 3 million Texans have voted already, but it is unknown which party they belong to or which party is currently leading. The 55R-43D numbers shown here are fake. electindex.com/early-vote/#tx

Austin is paying racial-equity consultants to lecture its cops about racism -- about $3.56 million to date -- and to stop rejecting cadets with bad credit and evictions, and to fast-track black officers into command. One APD commander was thrown out after he refused to agree to her workshop's premises about systemic racism. She calls the workshop a "revolutionary exploration into how systems of racism work." APD cadets take this critical race theory course in their first two weeks at the academy. She told APD to: - Create a short-term career ladder to put more black Americans in leadership positions - Rethink hiring disqualifiers like bad credit and evictions through a racial-equity lens - Expand her training department-wide The city has been cutting her checks as recently as February of this year. APD has about 300 vacant officer positions.

DOJ should investigate whether this scheme to deceive Alaska voters violates 18 USC 241. If these Democrat operatives acted in concert to put a candidate on the ballot with the same name as the incumbent with the intent to deceive voters who support Sen. Sullivan into wasting their votes, that could be an illegal conspiracy against rights.
BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him. Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible. The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.” Per NYT: “The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.” nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

I understand where Pat McAfee is coming from. I've received serious death threats that required armed security at my home. During Super Bowl week in 2018, I remember broadcasting live and realizing we were sitting ducks. Most people have no idea how vulnerable we are.

How many years of being a Democrat does it take for you to stop being referred to as a “Texas Republican”?
BREAKING: Texas Republicans announce they will “Pass on Paxton”: “I truly believe that he is the most corrupt politician Texas has ever seen.” “To send Ken Paxton to the United States Senate is adding another gator to the swamp.” “James Talarico is by far — without a doubt — the best person in the race for the US Senate.”

BOMBSHELL: Former campaign manager for Alaska Democrat Senate Candidate Mary Peltola just EXPOSED her old boss for plot to Run a Fake Candidate to Confuse Voters The investigation reveals an alleged scheme to recruit another candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan in Alaska’s 2026 Senate race. The goal: Confuse voters with two candidates sharing the same name and potentially siphon votes away from the Republican incumbent. The New York Times interviewed 12 people and obtained dozens of text messages detailing the effort. This is election interference. She should drop out.

Their account claims "Political analysis and reporting free of tribal prejudices". LOL. This is just another TDS site trying to disguise itself as neutral.
Musk's heavy spending on the Wisconsin Supreme Court contest turned the backwater race into a referendum on Musk himself—which he lost. We should hope Talarico can do that in Texas. Today's Morning Shots from @BillKristol and @EggerDC: lnk.thebulwark.com/4ibGxef

This is why we elected Trump
More than 1 million private-sector jobs have been created since Inauguration Day, while the federal workforce has shrunk by 328,000, bringing it to its lowest level since the 1960s.

Europe is falling behind the rest of the world while the EU leadership focuses on taking away your rights to free speech and floods the zone with illegal immigration. Why is the EU trying to destroy its economy, its culture and its stable politics?
This is eye-opening. Europe’s share of global tech R&D has collapsed from 23% in 2005 to just 8% today, while the US has climbed to 62% and China has risen from near zero to 15%. South Korea now outspends Germany, France, the UK, and Italy combined in tech R&D. Yep, you read that right. This is the predictable result of policy choices that systematically favor control and redistribution over growth. Layered regulation, data rules, AI restrictions, labor rigidities, and precautionary frameworks, raises the cost and slows the pace of turning ideas into products, forcing companies to spend scarce resources on compliance rather than experimentation. High taxation and expansive redistributive systems extract capital that would otherwise fund private R&D and risk-taking, while shrinking the after-tax reward for building something new and scaling it. The broader left-leaning mindset that prioritizes equality of outcome over dynamism treats entrepreneurial success as something to be managed, taxed, or shared rather than unleashed and rewarded. Places that protect the returns to innovation and keep barriers low continue to pull ahead, attracting talent and capital that Europe increasingly loses. Europe’s relative decline is the cumulative outcome of treating dynamism as a problem to be regulated rather than the engine of prosperity. Without a shift toward lighter rules, lower burdens on enterprise, and greater tolerance for unequal outcomes from unequal effort, the gap will keep widening, and Europe will become an open-air museum for wealthy Americans and Asians.

Ken Paxton is the greatest Attorney General in Texas history. He has taken on Big Tech and opioid makers abusing Americans. He sued hundreds of local governments to stop them from raising property taxes. He secured a $10M settlement from Texas Children's Hospital for using Medicaid to pay for child sex changes. He sued the Biden admin hundreds of times for their open borders policies. Ken is the fighter we need in Washington.
