I was up there early on the Fourth of July, and a layer of clouds had settled into the valley below. The peak rose right out of it, with the first warm light hitting the rock and snow.
What caught my eye was how clean and sharp the peak looked above the clouds, with the dark evergreens at the bottom giving it scale.
Have you ever watched a peak rise out of the clouds at first light? It is one of my favorite ways to start a day.

It’s time to wake up and stop being a loser.
Get out of bed early. Lift heavy weights. Go for a run. Clean your apartment. Get a haircut. Dress like you actually go outside. Eat Whole Foods. Stop watching tik tok. Call your parents. Actually start pursuing your passions. Get a 2nd job if needed.
Stop chasing people who don’t want you. Stop comparing yourself to guys on Instagram or Terra Chad’s. Stop blaming your height, genetics, the economy, or your childhood for everything.
Figure out what you want out of life and go after it like a man possessed!!
Be someone people can depend on. Keep your word. Show up on time. Be a good friend. Treat people well. Don’t be afraid to look stupid trying something new.
It’s cool to care. It’s cool to work hard. It’s cool to want more for yourself.
You’re going to fail. You’re going to get rejected. You’re going to have days where you feel like the biggest loser on earth.
Who cares? Get up tomorrow and try again.
Some guy with half your advantages is out there making it happen because he refuses to quit.
Life is ridiculously short. You can spend it complaining about the cards you were dealt or actually play the hand.
Nobody is coming to save you.
Become the guy you would’ve looked up to at 15.

I generally stay far away from politics and theology online because I prefer to discuss those subjects face to face. I chat with at least 1-3 neighbors every day. A lot of people ask me if I would ever leave Oregon because of how liberal it is. The answer is no. My family has been here for 6 generations and we aren't going down without a fight. Moving to a more conservative state is not going to save you. Evil will permeate every place we go unless we stay and fight back. Please be active in your communities. Talk to your neighbors. Build relationships. People will open up and be far more likely to listen if they know you personally and know that you genuinely care about them. Don't be a keyboard warrior. Be a foot soldier.

Everybody's talking about red vs. blue, but Florida quietly had a great election night for otters and other wildlife!
Seven counties voted to fund conservation, about $1.2 billion total:
🌊 Brevard: renewed the Save Our Indian River Lagoon tax
🐢 Sarasota: kept its lands program going through 2049, with 84% voting yes
🌲 St. Johns: $100M to buy wild land
🐄 Manatee: $75M for water quality, preserves, and protects working farms and ranches
🦅 Charlotte: $70M for sensitive habitat and drinking water
🥾 Marion: parks, trails, and conservation
💧 Santa Rosa: protections for clean water, natural lands, and farms
Every measure passed with at least 73%, and all seven also went red for governor.

Tina Kotek's lies, manipulation, smugness, deviated septum, and slurring of words all stem from overt evil. The visceral reaction I have to that sociopathic/psychopathic narcissist is real and biological.

I've spent the last four years first warning you about her and then nearly daily shedding light on her corruption, depravity, and anti-God, anti-Oregon, anti-American, anti-child, and anti-family values. Kotek has been an incredibly dangerous 20-year stain on Oregon.
I've done what I can to bring awareness but I'm now tired. Really tired. I have very little patience and tolerance for those who are actively (and supporting) destroying my state and this country. My words are now brief and direct. I'm done playing nice and I'm done researching evidence, checking facts and figures, and writing evidentiary posts. I'm simply exhausted.
What happens tomorrow (or whenever the corrupt SOS gets around to it) will dictate not only my plans to stay in Oregon but I suspect it will dictate the plans of 10s of thousands of families and businesses as well. As a five-generation Oregonian whose family arrived via the Oregon Trail in 1853, it pains me deeply to consider leaving this state over a child-hating, Communist carpetbagger but I will if I must. And, I will eventually move my family with me.
It's true that we are at the precipice between good and evil. I pray to God He will deliver this beautiful state and it's Oregon-loving people from evil. We are going to need a miracle to trump the corruption and the will of those who hate us with every fiber of their being.
The evidence is there that, without question, we are truly hated by these people. Their actions are very clear. They simply view us useful cogs - the proletariat - and we are only useful as a funding apparatus for their evil work. The people who run this state are not "just Democrats"; they identify as Marxists, Socialists, and Communists and hide behind the titles of progressive, Democrat, DSA, Working Families, etc. It's all smoke and mirrors with the end goal of the government and elite owning you, your children, and your money. This is no longer a question.
I stated Kotek will be a one-term governor 1.5 years ago and I have breathed life into every day since then. Thousands have joined me with reposting, quoting, commenting, and liking my prediction. I am willing the universe - and praying to God - to remove Kotek. She must be removed from office and this state. We truly have no other option if we want any sort of quality of life for ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, and this beautiful place we call home.
Tomorrow weighs heavy on me and I suspect many of you as well. God speed, my friends.
