#TrafficTip - Remember to turn on your full vehicle lighting to make yourself as visible as possible. It's also the law. #SoyezVisible ^ks

Rainy, cool day. 2:30pm I’m outta here. 8 hours of chasing my tail trying to make progress on the job is enough fun for the day. This will allow me time to get home, shower and drive to the city for my appointments.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is aware of ongoing discussion on social media and other online platforms regarding an incident that occurred in Quadeville in June 2025. The incident resulted in criminal charges being laid against a young person. As the accused is a young person, their identity is protected under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). Breaching the YCJA is considered a criminal offence and could result in criminal charges. The OPP reminds the public that publishing, sharing, or reposting information that could identify a young person involved in the court process may violate the YCJA. This includes names, photographs, screenshots, social media content, family connections, or other details that could lead to the identification of the accused. In addition, court proceedings related to this matter have not yet fully concluded. Public speculation, the sharing of unverified information, or commentary presented as fact has the potential to impact the ongoing judicial process. The OPP recognizes the significant interest this case has generated within the community and appreciates the continued concern and support shown for those affected. We ask members of the public to be cautious, respectful and mindful when discussing this matter online and to allow the judicial process to proceed without interference. Protecting the integrity of the court process and complying with legal publication restrictions is a shared responsibility. Anyone posting or sharing information online should ensure they are not disclosing information that is protected by law.
