It reminds me of when I tried asking my parents about my family’s history. They had no detail of the tragedies because the elders never spoke of it. Especially those who lived closer to slavery and war torn eras. Those people were traumatized and stayed MUTE

Three-year-old Nevada Pierre was dominating against older kids in a Florida youth soccer game when a dispute erupted. The league said there were issues with pushing and parental behavior; the family said he was removed simply for being too good.
