"I once cancelled a major public transport infrastructure project then used a picture of me on a private jet to announce it on social media!"
This week I took long-term decisions to build a brighter future and change our country. This change will: 🏘️ Transform our towns 🚆 Boost our transport 📚 Improve our education 🚭 Reduce cancer deaths Here’s how👇

Delighted to have been called as the first questions during the Shadow Chancellor’s first major speech in post. @FixRadioUK being called first shows we’re among the big boys now for front line politicians. Although next time I’ll try to remember to wait for the microphone!

Some news! I've launched a podcast with my good pal @danxnoble! It's called End of The World and we ask funny people what they would do during a zombie apocalypse! You can listen to it here: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas… And here is a taste of what you can expect 👇

If Pompey described me doing an away day as a “day tripper” my head would be on mars. Callum Lang and the day trippers has a ring to it though!
📝 Preston North End's partnership with Lumo is aimed at fans who might be heading to London to watch North End away, whilst also looking for a weekend stopover. Lumo provides supporters which much more affordable travel from Preston down to the capital, so arguably you can travel there and back, plus a hotel, for less than you might normally pay for your standard train ticket. We appreciate it might not have read that way in the original message, and apologise for any confusion caused. However, we are aware of the appetite for day trippers and a 'fans special' train as well, and we are currently in discussions with Lumo to try and make that available too! #pnefc

Biggest long shot in the history of long shots… Me and a mate are on our way to Leeds for a test match that’s already ended. Obviously no #Pompey tickets left for Lincoln - but if anyone has a couple of last minute spares we’d happily take them off your hands!

I’d imagine it suits a betting company down to the ground that this “EFL journalist and pundit” has made some very questionable selections on a betting website. Good fashion “journalism” not an attempt to influence betting patterns and pay back those who paid him… not at all.
It’s here! 🙌🏻 My Championship Season Preview, with 1-24 predictions 🔮 ✍🏻 @bet365 news.bet365.com/en-gb/articl…

It’s not Pompey 23rd which has done me… Southampton winning the league despite a points deduction Both Wolves and Burnley outside the play offs Cardiff top half Lincoln staying up If a EFL journalist and pundit genuinely believes all of that then I have a bridge to sell you.

And yes, I’ve shared the original post so I’ve fallen into the trap and fed his numbers. But if it were up to me, those who exploit their followers for their own gain would be first in the stocks when the revolution comes.

With the membership sidelined I’d planned to leave @UKLabour - this has confirmed it. Despite the faults of this government, to be plotting and undermining it within 12 months of being elected is insulting to the members who helped get Labour elected. Shame on Burnham’s cabal.
The MP at the centre of Andy Burnham's Westminster comeback reveals she's been planning it with him for a year. Former transport secretary Louise Haigh tells @BBCNickRobinson's Political Thinking that Burnham's team has a plan for the first 100 days. Listen here: bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002yv…

We are absolutely blessed as a Football Club to have Southampton our rival They consistently embarrass themselves and it’s usually on a global scale If it’s not accidentally signing a Senegalese Uni student, it’s losing 9-0 TWICE or a cheating disqualification GLORIOUS 🤣

CCHQ apparently chipper today, I'm told. They're "utterly convinced" Susan Hall will be the next James Bond.
Statement from Amazon MGM Studios: “The search for the next James Bond is underway. While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”

Ideally it’ll be 64.
Zak Crawley currently has 64 test caps, how many will/should he finish his career on?

Frustrating from Pompey today. Controlled the game without creating anything. Taking a free kick with Adams still down injured. Segs making a huge mistake to add to his terrible corners. If we don’t take at least a point in games like that then we can’t moan if we go down.

But if going down means Sam Allison won’t be referring us next year it also seems a fair deal.

Thank god I never walked past Zahawi during my years working on a Breakfast Show. He’d have probably called the Flying Squad.

So you should people only have the kids they can afford. But then if they can’t afford them and make that choice you think they should pay more tax? As someone who’d love kids but worries if they could afford them, this shit is so boring.
