President Kagame is not just a leader, but a visionary leader who will always put his people first, before anything else. ✅ Health ✅ Security ✅ Education ✅ Development And so much more.
What does putting citizens at the centre of development look like? It means building hospitals, expanding access to healthcare, investing in education, connecting communities through roads, extending electricity to rural households, and creating opportunities for families to improve their livelihoods. These are among the priorities reflected in Rwanda's development programmes under President #Kagame's visionary leadership. @SamuelBaker_B @amluzayamo @sheilakamuzinzi Src: World Leaders Approval Ratings in 2026

During the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, identity cards became death warrants at roadblocks. When cards were missing, armed Hutu men and the 'Interahamwe' militia used racial classifications set under Belgian colonial rule to select victims.

A journalist with a major Rwandan news outlet shared this photo in a WhatsApp group I’m part of. It shows a senior official from the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (@RIB_Rw) at the 2026 Development Journalism Awards, held to mark Africa Day of Information. Here’s what he wrote, translated from Kinyarwanda: “It’s surprising and sad to see the RIB at an awards ceremony for journalists, given how often they lock journalists up. 😊” A fellow journalist in the group replied: “They’re not really there for the ceremony anyway. They’re keeping an eye on the people they want to arrest.” Journalists remain behind bars in Rwanda. Reporters Without Borders says that, since 1996, 35 journalists have been forced into exile and nine have been killed or reported missing. I’ve covered both names because I won’t risk adding either colleague to that list. (There’s a bitter irony in having to protect two journalists’ identities just to share what they said about an evening held in their honour.)

For those that don't know much about this Anael Marlon Luzayamo, a loudmouth of @PatrickMuyaya , here he was pledging allegiance to being a good citizen of the US, where he lives by the way. Muyaya pays him thousands of dollars every month to technically live in Twitter where he spread Tshisekedi's filthy propaganda by posting nonsense and hosting useless SPACEs. He does so in collaboration with Muyaya's former concubine, a one @Nevesbabe where they lie to Congolese that Rwanda will be taken over by Hutu-power forces. Oh that big belly is for unhealthy roasted pork, wish them well 😂😂😂😂

Trying to imagine how people would react to the news of Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Committee in the parliament voting to demand Belgium to release one hamed Abrini arrested in 2016 regarding Brussels airport bombing investigation! Mrs Victore Ingabire committed known crimes, trying to white wash her will not cancel the fact that she formed a criminal organisation whose members were arrested before her and accused her. Rwanda stopped being a colony of Belgium back in 1960’s someone should remind them that!

A political earthquake in Washington, with Democrats securing majorities in both the U.S. Senate and House, the clock is ticking for Felix Tshisekedi and Évariste Ndayishimiye. Both regimes have consistently relied on friendly GOP allies to whitewash their abysmal leadership, human rights abuses, and regional warmongering. With Congressional leadership shifting, their impunity is coming to an end.

Through platforms like @UnityClubRw, intergenerational dialogues bring Rwandans together to share experiences, reflect on the country's history, and strengthen a shared sense of national identity. These initiatives are essential in nurturing unity and building a stronger, more transformative nation.
National unity and cohesion do not happen by chance; they require constant nurturing. Through Unity Club , the First Lady has made a meaningful contribution to promoting reconciliation, preserving our shared values, and ensuring that future generations understand the importance of unity. This is what purposeful leadership is about: a genuine commitment to safeguarding our unity and building a stronger, more cohesive nation.

@kayikwambaT @RDCongoMAE

The 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi should serve as a lesson to every leader and a wake-up call to Western governments and the international community to confront and eliminate genocide ideology. They must also pressure the DRC regime to stop protecting the FDLR and ensure that the group is neutralized once and for all.
It is painful to see these same genocidiares (FDLR) repeating the same crimes in the DRC, and with the same intentions of destabilizing the region and finishing what they never accomplished in the past. Even more troubling is that they continue to receive support from the DRC and Burundi governments, while the international community remains silent.
