Your kids are always watching.
If you eat like shit, neglect your health, and end up 50lbs overweight, they're 10x more likely to follow the same path.
If you don't care enough to get in shape for yourself... Suck it up and do it for your kids.

Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman reiterated his bullish stance on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, of which he is large shareholder in.
“These stocks will go up tenfold. and that’s you know, that’s the most asymmetric investment I’m aware of in the stock market,” Ackman told CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” on Thursday. “These entities have fully rebuilt their capital. What’s not, I think, well understood is Fannie and Freddie today have five times the capital they had historically.”

"It's absolutely politically critical for Fannie and Freddie to be released from conservatorship before the end of the Trump administration."
@BillAckman is bullish on $FNMA and $FMCC – here's why:

I believe the same as Bessent!
"I would imagine that the next year, the year after, we will be tackling the ownership structure,” @SecScottBessent told the 2Way media platform.

True
Replying to @JonOksenholt
There’s a huge political risk to inaction here. The administration keeps pointing out $FNMA and $FMCC are printing cash and worth a trillion dollars. If they do nothing and Democrats take back power in 2028, they’re literally leaving a massive war chest on the table for a liberal agenda. Regardless of Bessent’s risk aversion, moving soon is the only way to prevent the exact “waste, fraud, and abuse” they rail against.

Bessent on 2WAY's "The Morning Meeting" says the administration still plans to act on Fannie and Freddie in 2027–28, but his “north star” is that any deal can’t widen mortgage spreads.
He said it's "unclear" whether changing the ownership structure would help homeowners. The core tradeoff in recap and release has always been getting a deal to work for shareholders, taxpayers, and borrowers.
Treasury Secretary @SecScottBessent joins “The Morning Meeting” LIVE at 9am ET.
@LarryOConnor, @KevinPWalling, and I will put our questions to the Secretary before opening the conversation to the 2WAY community.
We’re breaking down the fourth wall and bringing YOUR perspective into the conversation.

IF you are wondering WHY Fannie & Freddie are Up today
Bessent Says:
"next yr or the yr after, we will be tackling the ownership structure"
This is HUGE in the sense that he is
1) acknowledging it
2) directly address the elephant in the room of ownership structure
$FNMA $FMCC
God bless "Lloyd from New York" for pressing @SecScottBessent so directly this A.M. on the Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac saga & advocating for shareholders.
Lloyd, you're a legend!
Take some notes, legacy media.
Bessent & the administration are still focused on keeping mortgage spreads in check, so the holding pattern continues.
Not exactly the answer we wanted to hear from Scotty B. But the housing situation is fluid and nuanced.
IMHO, F2 remains to be a focal point for DJT as the groundwork continues to be laid for our path forward & eventual release.
Ever bullish.

Bessent tells @MarkHalperin this AM that the Trump administration "will be tackling the ownership structure" of Fannie and Freddie "the next year [or] the year after."
"It's unclear why homeowners or mortgage holders would benefit for a change in the arrangement of the shareholder structure. So whatever we do is going to be guided by making sure that the spread on mortages ... does not increase; that's our North Star." youtube.com/watch?v=a3tbSNWI…

Oil is above $100. The main reason it's not closer to $150 is all the oil being released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. That will stop after the midterms. When it becomes obvious that inflation will outpace Fed rate hikes, the dollar will fall, sending oil prices soaring.
