Many Nigerian doctors I've spoken with admit they only truly understood pathology when they started studying for the USMLE. Med school pathology was a blur of cramming, struggling to get 50 and scale through.
The problem is that scaling through means you have a shaky foundation through the final years of medical school and struggle more than you need to with Medicine and Surgery and all the subspecialties.
So we're taking everything we've learnt about how students learn and building an all-in-one tool that gives you the most bang for your buck with limited time and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Our goal with patandfam is to create a comprehensive learning platform that reduces the anxiety of your 2nd MB exams while giving you just the right depth of understanding you need to move through your clinical years with confidence.

I'm at that stage of my life where I finally realise how incredibly valuable time can be.
There is literally not enough time in the day for the things I want to do. I haven't been properly bored in YEARS. Even rest time is intentional and must be blocked or it won't happen.
If you're in your 20s, you have so much power. There's no such thing as free time. LEARN. You'll be so grateful you did.
I don’t “do” politics.
Yes, you do.
“7 years in university” is politics.
“Poor healthcare” is politics.
“No ambulance” is politics.
“One chance” is politics.
“Kidnapping” is politics.
Politics will do you, whether you “do” it or not. Join the movement: wearegst.com

In a weird way, everybody is rooting for you. When you go to a job interview, the interviewer wants you to be amazing so they don’t have to look anymore. when you go on a date, the person wants to have an amazing date with you. If you make a piece of content, people want to see amazing pieces of content and they have no problem if it’s yours.
the instant you get into the mindset that people want you to do well, your entire world gets better. And you’ll be shocked to know this pattern keeps repeating in different areas of life.

If someone has a stroke in Nigeria, they are almost certainly f****d.
There are less than 10 hospitals in Nigeria with a dedicated stroke unit. Meaning they have a VERY slim chance of avoiding permanent brain damage of they live outside a handful of communities in the country.
You MUST learn to prevent stroke for yourself and your family.

A student can spend years breaking academic records in Nigeria & barely get noticed. We need to become a country where intellectual excellence is celebrated just as loudly as every other form of success.
Gonna commit to an article a day for the next 30 and see what happens on pako.health
Had our second round of interviews for @pakohealth today. Nigeria has a lot of great talent. Don't let anyone fool you.
The reality of Nigeria, A medlab scientist in FMC ASABA is only entitled to use a pair of gloves per day, despite seeing an average of 10 patients a day, how..? He sanitizes his gloves with spirit after each patient, yet the government is buying prado to campaign for elections.
