ראיתי שיוסי אלי עשה אתמול כתבה של 15 דקות, לא פחות, על כמה ערבים בבנימין שמתלוננים שהצבא לא מספק להם אבטחה בבתים שבנו למרות חששם מה"מתנחלים".
על פניו סיפור קורע לב, אבל מה שיוסי שכח שוב לספר לצופים, כמובן בשגגה ובתום לב, הוא שמדובר בערבים שפלשו לאתר היסטורי מימי בית שני, השמידו שרידים עתיקים, פונו מהמקום על ידי המנהל האזרחי אך פלשו בשנית לאתר, הפעם מהמקפצה והקימו לאור יום 2 וילות בשטחו.
תיאטרון האבסורד לא נגמר בזה. הפולשים הערבים, שלטענתם המשך פעילותם העבריינית באתר הארכאולוגי נמנעה בשנה האחרונה בעקבות הקמת נקודת ההתיישבות הסמוכה כפר טרפון עתרו לבג"ץ, ושם דרשו בעזות מצח כי יורה לצה"ל לאבטח את חזרתם למקום וכן יורה למדינה לפנות את הגבעה.
למרות האבסורד, שופטי בג"ץ, כצפוי, לא בחרו לדחותה על הסף ולנצל את הודאתם בבניית הבתים לטובת העמדתם לדין בגין הרס אוצרות מורשת. מה הם כן עשו בפועל? ניחשתם נכון. הורו למדינה להשיב בדחיפות לטענות, וכן לדווח בתוך שבועיים ימים אלו פעולות היא כבר ביצעה בנוגע לאבטחת הפולשים ופינוי הגבעה.
