Canada by a wide margin. CBC alone gets roughly $1.4 billion yearly from Ottawa, plus hundreds of millions more in tax credits, Local Journalism Initiative funds, and other supports for private outlets. North Korea runs a fully state-controlled media system inside an economy estimated at ~$30 billion GDP; its propaganda budget is opaque but orders of magnitude smaller in absolute dollars.
The betrayal of Canada
Canada is bringing in approx 20000 temporary foreign workers monthly. As of October 2026, Canada has recorded a net loss of approximately 45,900 jobs for the year to date, Canada loses net 4,700 jobs in October, jobless rate rises to 6.7%. Canadian workes are being replaced by foreign workers.

Friedrich Hayek’s seminal book The Road to Serfdom is a warning against the dangers of government central planning, collectivism, and state control. It is a foundational text for modern libertarianism, but it also captured the imaginations of politicians and rival intellectuals.
John Maynard Keynes, Hayek’s chief macroeconomic rival, read the book while traveling to the Bretton Woods conference. Surprisingly, Keynes praised it as "a grand book," writing to Hayek that "morally and philosophically I find myself in agreement with virtually the whole of it."
Milton Friedman championed the book as a masterpiece of political philosophy. He frequently wrote introductions for its anniversaries, noting that The Road to Serfdom was essential for demonstrating that economic freedom is an indispensable prerequisite for political freedom.
Margaret Thatcher viewed the text as a moral awakening during her university days. It provided her with the philosophical ammunition needed to challenge the British post-war socialist consensus, ultimately defining her premiership's commitment to privatization and deregulation.
George Orwell also famously reviewed the book, offering unique praise. Orwell agreed with Hayek's thesis that state collectivism naturally breeds tyranny, noting that central planning gives "a small minority of bureaucrats" unprecedented power.
Hayek’s central message transcends ideological boundaries: even when well-intentioned, government planning sets a society on a path toward totalitarianism, tyranny, and the destruction of personal liberty.

They are destroying the old Canada, that we knew & loved, on purpose.
Carney says he will immediately give citizenship to 200,000 migrants already in Canada PLUS raise the immigration rate to 380,000 at the same time as unemployment is rising beyond 6.7% and jobs are disappearing. And Carney says he will add $733 BILLION to the debt over the next 5 years.
Can anyone explain what is happening?

Global banking Carney was made aware of the Iranian networks in western banks in the HSBC case in UK and prior to that in Canada as the RCMP and we hope @FINTRAC_Canada and @csiscanada know — if any reporters in Ottawa could read and ask the right questions.

This is wild.
The Canadian economy outside of Alberta is in rapid decline with the worst gdp productivity trend in the top 40 economies.
What on earth is the rationale for this?
The biggest unreported story from yesterday: Carney snuck into the budget a massive immigration increase with the LARGEST NUMBER OF NEW PERMANENT RESIDENTS EVER next year.
Nearly 200,000 more than Trudeau’s highest-ever number year. When we have a shortage of jobs, homes, and health care.
Now we know why Carney snuck his immigration plan into a budget when everyone was distracted by the midterms and right before Parliament shuts for 10 days.
Unacceptable. This needs a real debate.
