Hello @FortniteStatus the new launcher won't update Fortnite, I am in a death loop, downloading, repairing, "Didn't finish", downloading, repairing, "Didn't finish", rinse and repeat. Any ideas or uninstall and go back to old launcher?
Hey @FortniteStatus, thanks for the help! I just uninstalled the launcher AND fortnite....that works too.
Hey @FNCreate and @HaroldAtEpic how does the little guy get to see our upvote/downvote percentage? It's not in the Dev Portal. Seems a tad unfair to me. All we get to see is "on a scale of 1-10" and "did you have fun in the last game" and "how difficult was last game"
Hey all, wrote a word game back in 2023 before UEFN, updated a new word daily for about a year, before it became a struggle for a new word and daily clue. AI has changed all that. WordGuezz is back! You can play all the old games too. Check it out!

I wish I had an explanation for the apathetic attitude of Epic.
Unlisted all my maps today.
My last map, published few days ago and didn’t even make it in the top 5 new tab in new tab.
It’s been a fantastic journey and worked with some fantastic creators.
Thank you for the opportunity @FNCreate
All the best
.@adskFusion Someone suggested I check out your software with an MCP bridge for a 3D print model I am designing. I am a noob to 3D modeling. I guess I should look elsewhere...a little aggressive? I looked at the page once and then went back to it. Difficult to get back a lost customer...just sayin'

Starting October 15, we’ll begin rolling out a redesigned Discover that gives players more info about your game at a glance. This includes autoplay video, a cleaner logo treatment, new tile shapes, and more.
You can upload new asset types in the Creator Portal, which are required to take advantage of the new rows and placements.
Get the specs, prepare, and upload your new Discover assets now 👉 fn.gg/discover-redesign
Hey @Walgreens your website is terrible. Can't update my insurance because I have 2 pharmacy profiles according to web chat, told to call 877 number, woman I spoke to says I only have one. She could not update it either. All I want to do is change my insurance to get a refill.
I installed the MCP UEFN bridge for Claude Code. Trying it out. Watching that TOKEN counter clock up is giving me ANXIETY. Reminds me of my younger days when I was way over mileage on a car lease, and calculating how much it would cost at lease end as I was driving. 😆
This needs visibility all on it's own...

Where do you even start?
The Like and Favorite system changes more often than the oil in a car. I genuinely don’t know how players or creators are supposed to keep track of how these systems work anymore.
The old systems were heavily abused, yet all of the data generated from that abuse was kept. Because of that, I feel like it’s now almost impossible for newer maps to reach the same kinds of numbers that some older maps achieved.
Take The Pit as an example. We all know that system was abused heavily, yet nothing was removed or adjusted retroactively. Rules were introduced after the fact, but the existing numbers remained. The whole thing became a complete mess.
Then you look at something like the Star Wars FOAD map. It’s huge, yet even that doesn’t seem to get anywhere near the numbers I would expect. So either the current system isn’t working properly, or the old systems were abused far more than we realise.
Bugs are another nightmare. Just in the latest update, multiple things were broken, and nothing seems to be a quick fix. Even when something is fixed internally or acknowledged on the forums, creators still have to wait for it to go through the Fortnite update pipeline. If it misses an update, we could be waiting weeks for a fix that has technically already been completed.
Discovery is also becoming increasingly messy. It’s not just the algorithm; the entire ecosystem is starting to feel more like Roblox, including the types and styles of games being pushed.
There are bad actors everywhere: XP maps, blatant IP infringement, scam-style maps, and other behaviour that should be well outside what is considered normal or acceptable for the ecosystem.
The biggest issue is that there doesn’t seem to be enough consequence for repeatedly breaking the rules. In my opinion, the creator ecosystem should have much higher entry requirements, and enforcement should be simple: if you knowingly and blatantly break the rules, you lose the ability to create and publish.
The ability to simply create another account and continue publishing scams, rule-breaking content, or other abusive maps has to stop.
Those are just some of my opinions, but overall I think the creator ecosystem needs far more consistency, accountability, and enforcement.

I’m increasingly concerned about UEFN’s future.
Discover, lack of enforcement, limitations, and roadmap delays have me questioning the platform’s direction.
How much longer will you hold on before exploring other platforms?

@FNCreate So either your system is telling lies or your staff don't know you changed the rules to allow devs to use textures of sidekicks ??? Which is it ??? I have many sanctions now building up and expect them all to be removed :) Following the rules should not get you sanctioned!!!
Hey @FNCreate this creator is promoting their maps with SCAM XP promotions on Tiktok.
"60 LEVELS IN LESS THAN 60 SECONDS"
Direct Violation of Rule 1.9, 1.13.1, 1.13.3 and 1.13.4
I have reported another SCAM XP map by this creator twice and received "NO ACTION TAKEN" replies.
Report: NO ACTION TAKEN...what a joke.
Fake XP counters are allowed now? @FNCreate
Hey @FNCreate here is map you can take down. Fake XP Scam. This counter is right on the screen the whole time counting up. Creator: Soyzoella, Island: 9872-1320-5107, 600 CCU in an hour with no Discovery, XP Scam Social Media probably.

Hey @FNCreate,
This is the kind of account network that should be identified and investigated internally when dealing with repeat problem creators.
If creators can piece together connections like this using only the limited information available through public facing APIs and platform data, imagine what could be identified with the tools and information available internally.
As I mentioned in my previous posts, I’ve now been contacted by multiple creators who have been documenting these accounts, map transfers, publishing patterns, and other connections linking them back to the same creator.
The video attached is only a simplified visualization of what has already been documented.
Creators should not have to spend this much time independently investigating account networks and compiling evidence just to get persistent platform abuse properly reviewed.

Hey @FNCreate,
When are you going to actually address this creator and all of their alt accounts?
Their behavior has done serious damage to this genre and pushed out many of the creators who have been operating in good faith.
At what point does repeatedly having content removed, only for the same behavior to continue across new maps and alternate accounts, become a creator level enforcement issue instead of another individual map takedown?
I’m not a legal expert, but service providers seeking DMCA safe harbor protection are required to reasonably implement a policy for terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
So at what point are repeat offenders actually treated as repeat offenders?
Removing individual maps clearly isn’t solving the problem when the same creators can simply continue publishing through other maps and accounts.
Please take a serious look into these accounts.
@TimSweeneyEpic @EpicVogel
I can also send an email with a document that was put together tracking their accounts, map transfers, publishing history, and other connections linking them back to the same creator.
If someone from the appropriate team is willing to review it, I’m happy to provide everything privately.
