I'm in this phase where the novelty of everything has worn off, but I'm still too distracted by the possibility of the new to appreciate mastery of the known.
This seems like a good day to give this simple (but hard to execute) life hack: when you're fired up and your limbic system is elevated, wait to communicate until you've calmed. I almost never am proud of what I say when I communicate when I'm emotional.
