Spent today up at my Aunt’s in Lincolnshire doing more house clearance. Twenty-five year old jam anyone………. 🤦🏻♀️
Attended provably the saddest meeting for 23years tonight. Urgent Senior Leaders mtg convened by the CEO to discuss how we can support frightened staff: people who travel out of hours, who work in the community etc etc. “Great” Britain should be so much better than this.
In all our work to get pts their operations, it’s easy to forget the personal impact on them and their families: eg the nervousness and the planning (for work, kids, pets etc). This week two people I know have had cancer-related surgery: a useful reminder! @TeamCAS3 @hart21_rmh

Cervical cancer will be almost eliminated in coming decades if HPV vaccination rates are high in children.
In England HPV vaccination coverage in schools is rising again but still below pre-pandemic levels. Please encourage children to get protected.

Fourteen years ago today I finished at NUH to move to UHL. Having moved back to NUH in April I have since come across so many people I have worked with previously in one or other Trust and had such a lovely warm welcome from everyone!
20yrs ago someone I worked with took suddenly ill and died. The QMC roof garden was redone, funded by her parents, who bought these two cats as part of it. Lovely to see them still there although post-Covid the garden needs some tlc…. @JohnPeach3 @SWBNUH
“It’s over now, the music of the night….. 🎶” What a week that was! Phantom of the Opera completely sold out, fabulous reviews both collectively and personally and several people saying they thought we were a professional touring company! Could not ask for more!

Am hugely excited for this role. Although I have sung lots of amazing opera roles the number of suitable parts diminishes significantly when you can no longer pass for <30 on stage!! Although a musical, this is a fabulous operatic role! So many top notes!☺️@TeamCAS3 @JudyGil2
