Queen Idia Hall gave me some of the most beautiful memories. It’s a place I’ll always look back on with so much love. Idia will always be home. ❤️

Coming from OAU to UI, one of the biggest culture shocks I experienced was just how fiercely devoted people are to their halls. It influences almost everything about you. It's almost cult-like at this point. Tch!

Some prospective corp members have been kidnapped since Wednesday, yet camp activities continues. It’s honestly just crazy and frustrating. At this point, I genuinely don’t even know what to say anymore.

Can’t NYSC seriously start considering regional postings? Sending prospective corps members across dangerous routes just to get to camp, when safer alternatives exist, is becoming too much. Their safety should matter too.

The old ₦100 note is really making a comeback. Every newly minted one I’ve seen lately is the old design. What’s going on???

People in camp were surprised when I told them I finished this year and I’m already doing NYSC. Put some respect on THE University of Ibadan!🙂‍↔️

Most of the people who do this don’t even do it properly. It’s always obvious they weren’t part of the parade. 😂

Another funny set of people in this country are those who salute their parents when they return from NYSC camp. 🤣🤣🤣

Imagine wearing the same clothes for 24 days straight. The discomfort, the feeling of not being able to change into something clean. And that’s just one tiny part of what those kidnapped victims have had to endure. May God see them through and bring them home safely. 🙏🏽

The proprietress of my nephew’s school died. We thought, “there’s no way school would open tomorrow.” Next morning, school was open. That moment made me realize, if you’re not there, life goes on. People adapt, routines continue, the world keeps moving.
