An important step to her NZ Cup path. She’s had a little freshen up between her last start, but had a beautiful exhibition gallop last week at Ellerslie. A small field today but with strong company, we believe she’s ready to run well again. 🥉 We’re incredibly proud of OMNI MAN’s 🦸 run for third in the Gr.3 Geelong Cup at his Australian debut yesterday! On a day where nothing made ground from the back, he was exceptional running the last 600m four lengths faster than any other runner. Our man Rich on the ground in Melbourne reported that, he’s pulled up well and was great after the race. While he didn’t get the elusive golden ticket into the Melbourne Cup, he’s still a long shot for it (47th in the order of entry), or he’ll run in the Gr.1 TAB Champion Stakes (2000m) on the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. A strongly run tempo will definitely aid his chances, we hope to see him settle and build into it from the 800. We will definitely need luck but we are confident in our horse’s ability.
